Fragrant and sumptuous
Absolutely fabulous. I used to think black peppercorns were all the same. A crunched or cracked dusting of these elevate any dish. Next level peppercorns.

The only black pepper that does it
Transforms any dish. Compared to standard supermarket pepper the difference is clear. The aroma is bold and rich, and the flavour comes through with real depth and intensity. Once you try this, it is hard to go back to anything else.

It's the best.
This is a gorgeous pepper that adds depth and complex layers to any dish. The 200g pack lasts a very long time, and worth every penny. Once you've tried it there's no going back to ordinary black pepper.

They are decent but probably not worth the cost
Nice but too expensive I think not that noticeably tastier than much cheaper options

Fabulous flavour and strength
Really good pepper. Great to know its organic as often. These crops are multiply sprayed. The flavour is extremely good and maintained. However, you can buy them from Ausha direct and it’s cheaper and the money goes more to the people who pack it

Amazing aroma
These arrived vacuum packed, the smell when the air is let in is quite stunning. They smell of fruit and flowers and underneath is the pepper. Use this as a condiment or add to cooked food, if you cook with this all the high notes will evaporate off, the kitchen will smell great but the food will suffer.

Damp peppercorns, not suitable for use in a grinder or mortar & pestle.
I searched for TGSEB standard and these are not - though that's probably down to Amazon's poor search listing. They came packed in a jar inside bubblewrap. Unfortunately, the lid of the jar had become unscrewed (in transit?) and when I opened the bubblewrap envelope a significant amount ended up on the kitchen floor. However, I tasted one and it had a good flavour. But these peppercorns cannot be ground in a pepper grinder and grinding them in a mortar just turns them into a mush, not a powder. So they're of little use to me.
