ADXCO 8 Pack Wood Panels 5 x 7 inch Wooden Canvas Board Unfinished Wooden Panel Boards for Painting, Arts, Pouring Use with Oils, Acrylics

I have tried to paint on 4 different canvas boards... The first 2 I painted on were a part of a set of 5 paintings I did that night. My paint dried beautifully on my other projects but bubbled & cracked on the wooden canvases. So I tried again the following night only this time applying a high quality art/wood sealant prior to painting. But again the painting on the wooden canvas was the only one of my paintings that night that cracked. Okay, having tried 2 times I decided to give it one more try by adding a 2nd layer of sealant but I can already see that its starting to crack as its drying. I paint on all types of surfaces, wooden canvases just so happen to be my favorite to paint on. The only explanation is that is when wet paint was applied to these canvases they expanded/contracted and that caused the cracking

2 of them were cracked. Not happy about that. Another one was so rough that I had to sand it down before I could prime it. A couple of the ones with surfaces that were ok instantly buckled when any liquid--as in paint or glue or gesso--was applied. Out of 8, less than half were actually usable. Pretty awful. I should have just returned them instead of trying to make them work. Big mistake, don't waste your money unless you're going for the ultra rustic look and truly don't care about having a smooth surface.

I got these to stain and make signs. You definitely get what you pay for. Most the 8 were not stainable due to glaring flaws. Staining would have brought out the icky looking wood. One of the panels was broken and the rest I can likely paint dark colors. I will not be reordering these.

Your product is not 8x10 inches like what I ordered, they are 7.5 x 9.5 inches, that is not standard for a frame! I created two commissioned paintings for a client and now the work will not fit in the frames.

I bought these twice. The first time was two packs. Most of them were quite good and the others may have some use if I use them differently. The second order was three packs. Not even half of them were usable as-is. Unfortunately, I need them for a deadline so I can't return them all. I'm going to have to order more from another company to finish the order and hope they arrive in time.

I ordered the 8x12 size to mount photos for wall hangings. Difficult dimensions to find, so I was glad to find these.All of mine seem to be sturdy unlike other reviews, however, they are actually 7.75”x11.75”, so I had to print my images that size and trim to fit. Not a huge deal since these are all standouts and frameless.The sides were fairly rough and needed a good sanding before finishing. But these are unfinished boards, so it’s too be expected.I’ll be ordering more, just bear in mind the smaller dimensions than listed.

The size listed is 8x12 not 11.5 by 7.5. I measured each one 3 times and got a half inch less than the size listed. If you can't deliver the size you list them don't bother.

I did not like that measurements are not correct and I was kind of disappointed when I was doing my project that I discovered it was not working for me.

I have not used the panels yet but they seem quite smooth and flat
