I love this Argan Oil based face wash. I’ve tried the other washes by Josie and this is the only one I can or will use now. It took me a few tries to figure out how to get the best from it for my skin needs. But it truly leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, she could not top it if she tried and I think she has tried. Less then half of the bottom of the bottle has a thicker heavier oil in it. If you turn the bottle over once, it will mix with the lighter oil at the upper most part of the bottle and lighter weight oil. Now, I like the feeling of this thick cleansing oil being smoothed over my face and neck. Then I add a fair amount of water to it and wipe it off with a soft wash cloth, but you can just apply, spread and wipe. Works just as well! Love it, will always use it!

I liked it at first - it rinses off well. But I’m finding it makes me break out with whiteheads the days that I use it.

My skin is softer and smoother since I started using the Josie Maran oil cleanser. It doesn't feel greasy to me and it doesn't clog my pores. I like the citrus scent but it tastes awful if you accidentally get too close to your mouth. Great price for a great product. I love the whipped argan oil body butter and use it on my face. No more issues with dry skin and I don't have allergies to her products which has been a huge problem for me. I have 'mature' skin and have had compliments from several girlfriends about how great my skin looks lately. Wish I could say I'm living healthier...but I'm not. Just good products.

Really nice cleanser. Goes on as an oil and can be used around the eyes. Add water and it changes consistency to a cleanser. Really gentle. Rinses off easily and leaves your skin feeling good and not dry

This cleanser is cheaper on the manufacturer's site. I found this out the hard way. Directions: It says to apply 3-4 pumps on a dry face. Do not do this. The oil is very, very sticky and does not spread easily. The best way to use it is to wet your face and hands slightly, and spread it out on your hands slightly to warm it up, THEN spread it on your face, massaging gently for 30 seconds or so. Then you can rinse it off with warm water and/or use the oil cleansing method of steaming/wiping gently with a hot towel. I follow up with Argan oil (NOW brand). PROS I find the smell pleasant--sort of a citrus-y, orange and grapefruit kind of smell. One bottle lasts a fairly long time. Gentle yet effective. It has emulsifiers, which I think helps with oily skin. CONS The price (especially on this site). If you wear a lot of makeup and/or sunscreen, it may not remove everything. Your mileage may vary.
