Really helps my rash on my skin. I have used zinc Oxide before but this one is better.

This stuff is exactly what I needed. It's thick, pasty white, and definitely not subtle. But my skin was angry and needed protection, and it worked. I used it during a rough recovery from shingles at the top of my thigh, where the rash turned into a secondary infection. The skin was raw and constantly irritated from movement, sweat, and friction from rubbing against fabric. The zinc oxide in this ointment helped seal out moisture, keeping the area dry and creating a protective barrier that allowed things to start healing. It doesn't absorb like a lotion—it's meant to sit on the skin and protect it, and it does that well. After a few days of regular use, the irritation and redness noticeably reduced, and healing accelerated. You do need to be okay with a bit of mess. It transfers to clothing. But I think it is a fair trade-off for the relief it provides. I also appreciate that the 3-pack offers a good value, especially if you deal with recurring skin issues.

I would recommend over the store brand because of the price and the ease of use on desired areas that's irritated. As a parent of three children and a new baby, I will now buy this over Desitin or the others! When diapers and wipes are already expensive, why not?

I use zinc on everything. It heals

Multipurpose ointment doesn’t break me out. Very subtle effects but it can relieve itching temporarily and reduce redness of acne or irritated skin. Does leave an annoying white caste even if use thin layer. It is a thick almost claylike texture that needs to be rubbed in otherwise it would be a white spot on area applied. Doesn’t add moisture to skin to the point it’s dewy but it’s a good skin protectant if skin is dry and chapped to prevent further damage. Skin is softer after use.

I’ve been using zinc oxide for diaper rashes for years. Usually buy a tub of it since I watch my neighbors kids and use it for them also. The tubes are great to throw in the diaper bag or purse for on the go. I also use this for when my son’s eczema gets so bad, he gets a skin infection and his skin starts “weeping” or oozing. Helps clear things up a little faster while also working to heal the skin.

This ointment was wonderful. I didn't even have to reapply after four hours. No sunburn.
