Excellent for treating white scale/black mold on Crape Myrtle trees
I have over 50 Crape Myrtles and every few years they get black sooty mold on them with white scales and loads of ants. After treatment, following the directions exactly, the mold and scale starts to clear up within a week. My white and pink myrtles bounced back, with prolific blooms, and are nearly normal after 3-4 weeks. From experience and due to the high cost, I think I can treat them every other year. This year was going to be year 3 from the last time I bought this product from Amazon, so I waited a bit too long. Fertilome is mandated in some states for farmers to use according to several university agriculture extension websites, though it has been restricted from use in some countries due to possible impact on pollinators. I have many bees every year and haven't seen any direct impact, but I'm not sure that is a good measure. The trees would otherwise die, despite being native to the area, the mold and scale can get that bad. Ants stream out from the base of the trees when applying the fertilome and several research papers have speculated what the relationship is between the ants and the mold: whether the ants cause the mold, or the sweet dew created by the scales attract the ants and the soot is a byproduct of either the ants or the scale. Either way, there are many fewer ants around the base of the trees after treatment, though not completely gone.Japanese beetles used to be a major problem for my trees as well, and that has virtually disappeared as well, and I attribute that to the Fertilome. So maybe 3+ years protection from Japanese Beetles and maybe 1-2 years protection for white scale/sooty mold.

This stuff works
This probably deserves a five rating, but considering the expense, I have chosen not to go that high. As a drench it is highly effective and I have ordered this bottle as the third bottle I have purchased. The trees I am drenching include citrus and the citrus trees are very sensitive to an overdose. On new growth there is some shrveling. Even when the tree size is accurately considered. I'll buy it again, it kills the stuff that we need to kill to prevent greening. As an internal killing of insects. It gets the others that affect citrus and the other fruit trees upon which I use it.

This product kills the Ips Beetle!
My 40 foot Spruce tree was dying from the Ips Beetle. Administered this product in the spring and by later July the tree has stopped dying. Now just have to top it. Lost maybe half the tree but not all of it.

Tree drench
I have used this product several times before and have been pleased with the results. Buying it through Amazon made it evenOver to have it delivered to my house.

Expensive but Worth It
This product works. Likely as to why it’s expensive. I’ve tried other products but they weren’t effective at killing Leafy Maple Scale that was killing my Honey Locusts. I tried this at the advice of a close friend. He didn’t steer me wrong. I use it spring and fall. You’ll notice that the sticky droppings from aphids will disappear long with the gallon of Windex you were using to scrub your windshield. I highly recommend this product.

It works!
I've been using this product for several years at the recommendation of an tree surgeon. It saved my Ash trees until the emerald ash borers finally won. I put it around my rose bushes, and my surviving white ash in early April. They really like it and the bugs don't!
