this is not the old 1/2" wide blade from the 70's and 80's,,, but a stronger 3/4" wide blade. Does not fit as neatly inside your pocket like the smaller ones, but is much stronger.

It would be 5 stars if it were half the price and could lock. Everything else about it is just what I need.

What i get not the same design

The numbers on the blade only go to 12, then they start over again. I have never seen this before. Maybe this is how A "Engineer's tape is? Will be returning. I have used Lufkin tapes for over 40 years, great products.
