The absolute best. Used them all. Anyone saying these don’t compare to the “other” popular colored pencils brands are correct. These are in a league of their own. Absolutely beautiful, true pigment. No wax. Blending possibilities and layering truly endless because these are top grade oil, not wax. Very deep pigments. Can never go back. Don’t tell the wallet

These are the best pencil crayons ever. I thought polychromos were great. But the Holbein can take many more layers . I use them both together with no problem. Despite 150 colors there are colors i use from the polychromos and prisma color. If you can afford these they are worth it. I received them within 10 days.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality and the colors of these pencils. My old Berol Prismacolors (made in USA) are FAR superior. I am so sorry I purchased this set, media hype and I really didn't need an additional wooden box for $163.00 more.... Buyer beware.

Extremely thrilled with this purchase!!! Currently filling out my color chart on Strathmore colored pencil paper, 400 series/ Best medium surface white. The combination of wax and oil is perfect. Pigment is outstanding. Compared to my Prismacolor and Faber Castell color charts.... well no comparison. Just when you think you can’t get another Layer on, Yes! Worth every pennie. Nice suprise, Meltz liquid pencil blender and the best pencil sharpener I have ever used. The wooden box is Beautiful.
