If you have circulatory issues or diabetes, these are the socks for you. They don't strangle your ankles and make marks on your lower legs, and they offer just the right amount of cushioning. And I've found they wear extremely well and hold up to many, many washings. They're made of 99% polyester, with just enough spandex to make them nice and stretchy. They seem to take care of moisture well, leaving my feet as dry as cotton socks. They're warm in winter and cool in the summer. Note that these are not compression or support socks, just nice and comfy socks for dress or casual wear. But if you need diabetes socks, or just don't like socks that are so tight that the tops leave marks on your legs, you'll enjoy these.

I keep ordering these socks because of there extreme comfort. I originally bought them for my husband, but my son and father like them because they are not too tight, like other socks. They have held up very well after repeated washing and drying.

I bought these for my dad. I purchased a package of four six months ago and he loved them. His birthday was in November, and these were #1 on his list! He told me that they “do not leave a mark” on his legs, that they are soft and have not lost the elasticity in six months.

When my legs and ankles became large as I put on weight, the old crew socks cut off circulation at the top of the sock, leaving an indentation in my calf. So I started wearing ankle length socks. I tried several "large size" crew socks, but they were not large for my big 14" shoe-length feet. Now, I've lost weight and with winter, wanted something warm above my ankle and so looked for large crew socks once again. Dr. Scholl's socks were just the right thing -- nice and long (up halfway on my calf), not tight but not falling down -- even after being washed. Perfect for what I wanted.

Until yesterday, I absolutely loved these socks! I purchased them because I was having discomfort from tighter fitting socks that seemed to aggravate some arthritis I have in my toes. Well the socks were great and very comfortable in my shoes and boots for the first week. Yesterday, I came in from shoveling snow and ice. Somehow, I managed not to fall on my slippery icy driveway. Ironically, when I took my boots off and walked in to my house, I took 2 steps and slid and fell crashing my knee into a wall and jamming my poor arthritic toe, which had been feeling pretty darn good with these socks. I checked the floor to see if it was wet or greasy and no the floor was fine. It turns out, the culprit was the socks, which are incredibly slippery on wood floors. My floors have not been polished in a long time. So I would highly recommend these socks if you can be disciplined enough to always wear shoes or slippers, which I did for the first week I had these socks. If you think you might be stepping on wood or another smooth surface, I would advise against these socks, unless your a speed skater or figure skater. I wonder if there is anything I spray on the bottom of these socks to give them a little traction.

Socks fit well. Not too tight but still stay up on leg. Was happy to find socks that fit for a size 15 foot!
