Buying these silicon containers was not my first foray into the plastic-alternative market. In the past I ordered silicon bags with hard sealing bars (they sit disused in a drawer) and then flat silicon sandwich bags which were ridiculously difficult to clean (they are used to store my Cuisinart food processor discs).Finally I found the ZipTop containers. They are made of thick silicon, stand up on their own and clean in the dishwasher so easily it makes me laugh. I love my ZipTops! The only problem is the price. Yee gods, they are expensive! So once again I was looking for an alternative.These Zip Standing silicon containers are everything I love in my ZipTops (nearly) and less than half the price. They are wonderful! A few notes:1) The walls on these containers are not as thick as the ZipTops, so they are a a bit floppy. In fact, the largest one really wants to slouch until you get something into it. But I think that's a small thing for half the price. The walls are plenty thick to do the job.2) The seals are actually a bit easily to use than the ZipTop brand. The thinner silicon is more flexible and doesn't require as much pressure to seal. Mind you, neither brand is completely leak proof. Don't fill one with soup and then toss it into your gym bag. They really need to stand upright for liquids or anything that might ooze. But if you're using them for sandwiches or carrots or apple slices, lay them on their sides with no problem.3) They are easier to open as well. They have a higher flap above the seal that you can grip to open with a firm tug.4) Clean up is great. These wash easily in the dishwasher. Only the largest size ever gave me any problem, again because is slouches. I have had to do a quick rinse on the largest after some cleanings, but all the other sizes work perfectly.These are well worth giving a shot. I now own two sets.

Stop buying Single use plastic!It's important that when we change for the environment that we change up so we don't slip back.These thick awesome silicon containers have no lids to get lost! They have big easily cleaned grooves on the for the zip closure. They are microwavable! Sous-Vide-able! They can crush down in your lunch box or into the veggie drawer in the refrigerator to save space! They stand-upright and open for easy filling. And the variety of sizes nest a bit for better storage when not in use.I LOVE THEM!!! #NeverGoingBackToDisposables

These are very durable and will probably last a long time if used properly. A great replacement for plastic bags/containers and heavy glass. These seem to be high quality and very reusable. The seals on the top are not a perfect seal. Some air can be squeezed out. But, they are standing, so you'd have stored upside down for any leak.

These are great. They are very durable and seal perfectly. You can freeze them, microwave and apparently bake in the oven. Haven't tried that. I love that they are functional and earth friendly. They also wash up perfectly on the top rack of the dishwasher. I just make sure they are propped wide open. They come out perfect every time.

I appreciate their versatility. It's also lovely that they are a more environmentally friendly way to store my foods. They're easy to store, and easy to clean. All around, I'm delighted with my purchase.

I've already sent a link to a friend for her to purchase. These have a great design, are affordable, and I love that they are eco friendly. Thick material & so easy to wash!Update: while clearing my kitchen counter, I wasn't paying attention and only afterward realized that one of these bags had been pushed over onto a burning candle. IN the flame, presumably for about a minute. No damage whatsoever occurred to the bag..I burned myself taking it off and touching it to see if it was ruined but the bag is as good as new. Phew for me & my house, but also.. What a buy!

The media could not be loaded. Little thick and clunky. But stands upright which is nice because the seal isn’t great. I will say I will take this knowing its limitations over the so-called safe nontoxic PEVA reusable baggies flooding the market today. Currently considered safe by the FDA but that’s only because they don’t seek to prove something isn’t safe until there is enough outside data is reported for which they will verify and respond, maybe. However, per the NIH, PEVA has proven to leach toxic chemicals into water. These studies have only been done in worms but I’m not willing to take that chance. And I’m not willing to spend the ridiculous amount of money that Stasher and several others charge. It’s price gouging. So, these will have to do!

Quality of material is durable, washes, stores well and has saved my household from spending on the disposable bags.May reopen and drip depending on the contents and portion.Plan to reorder to have more size options.
