A while back I ordered 3 small books on the subject to start learning , two were AI generated drivel and one was this book - thankfully. Included photo as proof as the other books had AI generated 5 star reviews.

Our son is due to start college on a mechanics course soon. This book has proved an excellent way to get him thinking about what is to come and to learn some of the terminology. Great book, well illustrated and pitched at the right level for a novice. The only minor criticism is some words are Americanised eg “fender” however there are so few examples of this and the quality of the rest of the book mean this is a very minor point and does not detract from the overall quality. Highly recommended for a curious novice or someone just starting out on mechanical training.
