I wanted to project an old win 7 system in our pcb fab lab. That had a VGA connector for alternate screen, dual screen or transfer. This adapter was fantastic. Simple plug in and it was powered from a USB port. Really glad i went for this product as the results were really good. Recommended. Andrew
