Wonderful
My fiancée loves her bike! It arrived fast, and was free of shipping damage. It was relatively easy to assemble once I had the correct tools, and is good quality for such a low price. From a more technical point of view, the bike is a little on the heavy side considering its only medium sized. The dual set of brakes is a hit for my fiancèe who doesn't like to always be reaching for the drop brakes. The shift levers are a bit far back, but considering the brake set-up, it makes sense. For the price, this bike is a great buy, and even though it's not a top of the line road bike, it is more than enough to get you outside and enjoying cycling.

not a performance bike
i have a mountain bike and wanted to bike on the road ,bought this thinking it would give better performance and i can ride faster on the road. It does but very little boost compare to mountain bike. Its a good bike but if you are looking for a performance one this is not. Also, changing gear is not smooth and makes noise and have to constantly adjust the front and back to make the noise go away whenever changing the gear. also wasn't able to go all 21 speed, certain combination of front and back are not possible to do. couple of time chain got dislodged during the uphill chaining gear making it dangerous. Tried to call the vendor but put me on hold for a long time and i gave up.

Hard to assemble with lots of loose stuff but not a bad value for money
Overall a good bike for the price I paid but few tips. FIrst of all the handlebar does not center properly, you have to try at least 10-20 times, then road test to feel the exact center, additionally my package was missing nut bolt for gear assembly. I tried Home Depot/Ace hardware for exact match which in a tight space is hard to put, had to zip tie it for time being until I can find a good replacement. Secondly the pedals are old fashioned with spikes, someone with sensitive feet I had to invest another $15 in good solid pedals with 9/16 adapters to fit for me. Thirdly brakes are not that strong with lots of loose nuts but is acceptable for a newly shipped bike so have to work on it for few times until it breaks good. My recommendation buy if you are ok with above otherwise go to your local bike shop who charge way too much, otherwise a good bike for the price.

Franken-Cycle Will Leave You Underwhelmed
I'm an aspiring bicycle mechanic who bought this bicycle as training project. I assembled, dis-assembled, and re-assembled it several times before donating it to a local charity. Here is what I learned: it is built with spare parts from whatever the janitor's broom swept up at the Kent factory floor. The frame is a (heavy) road bike, the seat is from a cruiser, the brakes are from a dirt bike, and the shifter is from 1962 -- and came with neither the necessary bracket for installation, nor any mention of it in the assembly instructions. Because of its striking orange color, and the fact that it looks like a 1970s racing bike if you stand far away and squint, it will be cat-nip to hipsters with a bit of the 'tism who are seeking a fresh fixation. The disappointment that awaits them makes my heart ache. It will arrive with wheels that are in bad need of truing (which took hours to do, although you could just pay a mechanic), brakes that need alignment, a rear derailleur that needs adjustment in all three dimensions, and a front derailleur that isn't even indexed. And once you've done all this and aligned everything as perfectly as possible, what awaits you is a clunky, unwieldy ride with an uncomfortably long reach even on a medium frame. A fair price for this bike would probably be more like $119.

Perfect
Listen I usually don’t write reviews, but this bike is really good for a starter! It looks amazing and rides really good! I live in the city so this is perfect just for a starter. So if ur looking for something just to start off with, this is it! Oh and take it to the you’re local bike shop! Less headaches

Didn't come with screws.
Didn't come with an Allen for assembly or the screw to hold the shifter on. Also, the cover on the sprocket broke the first ride. Other than that it's good for the price.

CHEAP WALMART BIKE DO NOT BUY
This bike was a garbage Walmart bike.. I bought it thinking it was a useable budget road bike but I was wrong. It came with bent spokes the first ten miles that i road it it fell apart. The shifter kept coming off of the stem and the handlebars came loose to the point that it was unusable. I had to walk the bike home..

Nice road bike for a beginner
I biked about 2k miles last year with my Walmart $100 MTB, mostly on a paved trail. I bought this road bike about 2 weeks ago and had about 120 miles on it. So far I am neither happy or unhappy with it. Here are my initial thoughts on this bike: Pros: 1. It is a lighter bike than my MTB, though it is still about 30lbs. Tires are thinner and can be inflated up to 85psi. All these result roughly 10% gain on speed with less effort to pedal compared to my MTB. 2. Dropped handle bar gives you more options to position yourself against the strong wind. 3. Easy to assemble. I just need to true the wheels and adjust the brakes and shifters. Cons: 1. Seat is not comfortable especially during a long bumpy ride. 2. No bottle holder or threaded holes for one. You need to buy the holder separately along with a tap bit. 3. The derailleur shifters are mounted on the stem. It is not that practical if you need to shift constantly. 4. The front derailleur shifter does not have “catching mechanism”. It is like a linear pull where you have to estimate the catching positions of each of those three front gear rings. Luckily I don’t need to shift it that often. 5. Tech support wasn’t available at the time I called two weeks ago. I left my phone number and have not got a call-back. Bottom line: It is a great cheap bike for commuting on a flat road. If you bike to exercise, you might need to ride a little bit longer to burn the same amount of calories than on a heavier bike.
