Quality product that fits well. The laces on the back are difficult to do on your own but it can be done. I had great range of motion in my sparring matches for kicks, strikes, and parrying.

Perfect fit for my son’s tar kwon do sparing

I am a Tae Kwon Do instructor and we spar every class. I have always trusted Adidas equipment over the years. I recommend these for my students- especially female students. They are sturdy, and have great coverage on chest as well as kidneys.For being so sturdy, they are not super heavy but might be considered a little bulky for some students. It will last forever even with daily use and abuse.

size large perfectly fit teenager 5'11 & 155lbs. great protection but not overly bulky. needed somebody to put on for him, but was not complicated. fit around back enough to protect kidneys.

The best thing about this Hogue is the last loop on the back is folded over and sewed for more durability.

Used it for a competition. It was supposed to get here in 2 days but it took 4. I wasnt very happy with that but its a good product.
