I have not taken...
... this sling into the field yet, but what little it has been used tells me it will do what I will ask of it. Webbing is good, the slip buckles hold, stitching is good, hardware seems good, I don't know about the springs in the HK clips or the strength of the clip itself, or corrosion resistance, but time and use will tell.I will get back in the event of a failure, since some part failing almost certainly results in a dropped rifle and some damage from minor scratches to a totaled scope to a lost rifle. We don't need any of those things and I'll sound the alarm if this sling is a dud. Otherwise, assume all is well.

Good
This is a good inexpensive sling. I'm tall (6'3") with a big chest and for me it was a little short but it still works fine. Just lacks the adjustment to loosen it up. I bought this for a GSG522, so just a fun plinking gun and it will work fine for that. I would be disappointed if it were to be used on an AR platform. It comes with a shoulder pad which is pretty much useless but it comes with one. It has velcro straps so you can take it off and reposition it on the sling if you like. But there's literally no padding to it. On the positive side though, the sling webbing is wide enough that the pad isn't necessary in my opinion. It's a good sling for the money. Just don't buy it if you're expecting the quality of a $80 sling because you'll be disappointed. Otherwise, if you're expecting an inexpensive sling instead of making one yourself this one is great.

Great strap that gives you options
I usually avoid products that have the word 'tactical' or 'tact-a-cool' like the plague but I have to give props to this manufacturer - the strap is very well made and they give the end user several viable carry options. I used this strap on a DMR AR15 build and removed the shoulder pad and hooks - I'm old school USMC and prefer solid sling to attachment points so I can use as off-hand support and proper arm lock if needed (my build is too heavy so she'll be used in the prone mostly or on a bench pinging 500 yards). The strap quality is as good if not better than regular issue slings and you have better options to control the length of strap which is a nice bonus to customize to your body type. Outside of the rare standing or kneeling use, I primarily wanted a solid strap that could carry my beloved AR on my back without worry of failure (why I dont use hooks). All-in, you cant go wrong with this sling!

Great Starting Sling
I like that it tries to provide the quick adjustment sling pull tab, but it isn't as smooth as other's I've tried. Quality is great, if not a bit coarse. The sling pad is a nice touch and provides a bit more cushion for resting your rifle on your shoulder. Overall for the price I think it works as a great entry level sling and I like that it includes the HK style clips.Would I get it again? Probably not, but mostly because I do a lot of carbine courses and put my slings through a lot. I just don't believe this will last over time. Is it a great sling? It can be and I still will use it for more of my plinker rifles.

Great Sling for the S&W M&P 15
I'm using this on a S&W M&P15-22, which is also the same size and design as the M&P15, so it will work the same. So far I've been very pleased for the way I use the strap as a steadying device to shoot from a standing position without any support. It will work for carrying, but I don't use it for that as much.

Could use minor improvements in design
Once I got comfortable using a sling, I realized that this one is too short for me, even in the extended position. I waited too long to experiment with it and now I can't return it so experiment with that first! Especially if you shoot ambidextrously. But I would improve the design of the pull tab for extending and retracting the sling. It's not very ergonomic for a hand to grab hold of and yank if you want to do it quickly. It's more like the extend tabs on backpack straps. I'd rather it be a short rope I can grab quickly and pull.
