Star Wars The Force Awakens: Read-Along Storybook and CD

My 4 year old loves it. We have the read alongs for episodes 4-6. They all use different voices/actors than the actual movies. He doesn't seem to care. For the price you can't beat it. It follows the story just as you'd expect from a read along.

Just like the movie. Give to my Aunt who having trouble seeing She like very much.. Love listen in car when I travel. Thanks again

Big hit with my 3 year old bb-8 obsessed Star Wars fan. He's never seen the movies because he's too little for them, but the read along is a good way for him to experience the story without too much scariness.

Wonderful to have these books on CDs. I grew up learning English with these cassette tapes that Disney made with all the traditional stories. It gives parents the option to have kids be familiar with stories that are popular without having to watch the long movies. I plan to order anymore of the Star Wars books on CD.

This is the second "read-along" book that I bought (first one was Zootopia on Amazon) and quality is the same. I bought them mainly so my 6 y.o who started reading can enjoy reading by himself and this is also a very good distraction in the car during traffic (other than videos). The story is true to the original minus some details (like the attack of the giant Rathtars) but this is good enough for my child. The only negative comment I have for all these books is that the reading speed is pretty high. There are sounds and special effects with the narration that make it entertaining. However, the flow of words is really fast I think for beginner readers. I have sometimes trouble understanding some of the words myself and my child can miss the sound that tells it is time to turn the page. Otherwise, happy with the purchase.

Great for car rides! My son is a good reader but is very auditory so he loves to hear the story as well...and he is a forever Star Wars fan!

I am so glad they used the characters lines and voices from the movie. The story is short and sweet, follows the movie, and my kid loves it.

CD is missing and book was overcharged-there is a sticker on the book that shows book was sold for one dollar.

Atesoro de mi infancia los dos primeros 'read-along' que editaron de Star Wars del Episodio IV y V, con su cinta de cassette y todo :D. Hace unos años, compré por eBay el volumen del Episodio VI que me faltaba, esta vez con un disco de vinilo tipo single. Ahora han editado el read-along del Episodio VII y, lógicamente, viene con su CD. Contiene fotogramas de la película y está muy bien narrado con efectos de sonido. Y el precio es imbatible.

I’m always on the lookout for interesting, curious nicely illustrated Star Wars books. And with this series I’m supported by our youngest who likes to listen and read along with the stories. His favourite is Return of the Jedi, which is also his favourite Star Wars movie. But the Force Awakens is probably his second choice. The soft cover book is nicely illustrated and the narrative complete, clear, yet concise enough. The CD is helpful, that is, for those that still have a CD player around the house, and this CD format is making it increasingly curious and therefore interesting to me. Yet I had to transfer it to a digital version that our son can play on his Iphone. And one wonders why Disney or the publisher hasn’t come up with some link to the digital online version of the is book. But the read-along concept still stands strong. The Force Awakens was quite enjoyable to me and much more digestible than the other sequel movies. Lets hope there will be Mandalorian read along version some time soon, before our son grows too old.
