Great Schleigh quality penguin figurine! I knew it would be small, but it was smaller than I expected. This was a very specific gift item requested by my 4 year old grandson, and let me tell you, he was THRILLED. The penguin is cute and as lifelike as you can get for a 2.5" tall penguin. I'm not sure what my grandson's intended purpose is for this little guy, but he was really excited to get it, and it goes right along with the shark and turtle he wanted, so it had great gift value for him. It's a figurine, so there's not much "function" to it, although it's perfect for imaginative play.

This was one o three "toy" figurines I bought. I was hesitant to buy as it is described as a "toy". It definitely passes as a nice display piece. Excellent quality, nice and sturdy, great detail.

Muy buena réplica

I bought this for my 91 year old husband who has Alzheimers. He read the book, Penguin Lessons also watched the film. Sadly much forgotton. I bought the tiny penguin, hopeing he'll retain something of the story & Juan Salvador, which he really loved. Although very small it is a very good replica of a penguin. Just perfect for what I wanted except a different type of penguin but his didn't matter.
