Yes! I purchased it specifically for that use and it has performed well.

will these work with Acetone?

NO with acetone. I used this bottle and it sprayed acetone nicely for about 15 minutes and them it melted.

How to stop the leaking? am i doing something wrong? they used to be good. newer manufacturer is very bad. smh! no more.

Can plain sealed caps be purchased?

Sorry, not sure. These are thin and crack easily, and are not worth replacing the caps.
