I noticed some less than stellar reviews of this mug - but I really can't understand why. I've had mine maybe 5 months now, and it's been nothing but fantastic. I can brew my coffee before work, and it's still warm at the end of the day - most times I don't let it last that long of course. But the mug can hold it warm - tried and tested many times. When going to the office, I have the mug on it's side in the outer pocket of my bag, not once has it leaked or even dripped - very good seal. Pressing the button to let your coffee out is a bit of a hassle to start with, but actually it becomes second-nature very quickly and it's actually quite useful - I've had my mug next to my computer and a couple times I've accidentally knocked it over and wasn't even the least bit concerned of a leak. The seal and construction really is good. Except the noise it made because of the heavy construction - and my colleagues staring at me - my computer was safe. I observe one review saying the paint would peel off - I can assure you it doesn't at all, I've used a dishwasher, hand wash and not one single pant peel. The only scratch mine has is because I dropped it from 5 foot when I placed it on my hand railing and it fell onto concrete and even then it only scratched it didn't even dent - it's sturdy and strong. One last thing - it fits the car cup holder perfectly (many don't). Anyway, for the price - you can't go wrong in my opinion.

Personally it’s the second time I buy one (old one was lost!) I love this product all in all. The only concern would be the common issue with such products (maybe with this type bit more) the smell stuck after washing but there are easy tricks over internet to get rid of that. Otherwise it’s great!

Unfortunately the screw top is not insulated like the base so get very hot and if you drink soon after filling with hot liquids can burn your lips, this is why it only keeps your drink hot for a short time

The top where you sip the drink is made of steel and when you pour in a hot beverage it becomes so hot that it can literally burn your lips. Very inconvenient and a waste of money!

I have received the item with a dent on the bottom because it was shipped unwrapped with any protection. Hot coffee started to cool down REALLY fast in less than an hour due to the heat radiating from the cap excessively which results in heat loss in the drink.

Love these cups. Perfect for feeling safe in classroom with a hot drink. Can drop no spills. Tough. Drink stays hot a long time. No leakage, can throw in handbag. Find after about 2 years need to replace. Start to have a smell. After 2 years button mechanism came lose. Still worth it for two years of extensive use.

I've been using this travel mug for two weeks and its terrific! First of all, it's very easy to screw the lid on and to clean everything. Second of all, I throw it in my shoulder bag before walking to work and it never ever leaks, even if it's turned upside down. Thirdly, it keeps fresh brewed coffee hot for a good 1. 5 hours (I drink it by then so it could last longer). Best travel mug ever. I hand wash it easily.

Great for keeping your drink hot or cool. Worked really good once I got used to the button to drink with. lol
