Works for me! I included 2 pics of the Vitamins shampoo bottle for actual ingredients. Will upload pics of my hair soon. Several months ago, I noticed the part in the middle of my hair forming a quickly widening gap from my forehead to the top to my crown (about the width of a finger). I was surprised how fast! It wasn't there 3 months ago. I never see any hair laying around anywhere in the shower, sink, pillow, etc - NEVER, not even a strand. So I wanted to stop the loss if I could, so I bought the Vitamins shampoo and then started using it back on 02/07/2018, and it's now 04/01/2018 (1 month, 3 weeks) and I notice a big difference, and feel it a bit more density all around between my fingers as a I run them through. The gap now seems to be more than roughly halfway repaired with new regular-density hair - not tiny downy ones. (I'll post pics soon). From what I understand, my hair loss is probably caused by too much DHT (I'm 49 yo and in good shape, eat well, exercise, sleep well, and haven't added any DHT-blocking food to my diet). DHT suffocates the hair follicles, causing baldness. It can be reversed for the most part, though genetics, health, etc. play a role. It leaves my hair as nice as what I was using before (Fructis 2-in-1 for normal hair), if not just a tad bit heavier than the Fructis. I use Vitamins every day in the morning without fail. I leave it on for 3-4 minutes while I body scrub, then use a little styling gel and blow dry. That's it. The shampoo does NOT make me lose more hair. It hasn't made my head itch, and a matter of fact, the top of my scalp never itches at all now (used to itch here and there). I never had dandruff, nor do I now using Vitamins. It hasn't made my hair feel oily, though it does feel that way when applying and lathering. It doesn't smell bad in any way, nor can I smell it after my hair is dry. None of the women I know have ever asked if I changed shampoo, and none have noticed hair loss. Yes, I have a few who run their fingers through my hair. All good in the hood baby :) HERE IS WHAT I CONSUME DAILY for supplements in the MORNING, so maybe these will help you too with your hair loss (all powder form with no taste). This is based on my body weight and height (European-American, 5'11, 190 lbs) and may be different for you. All of these supplements are perfectly fine for females as well (check factual science-based research and physicians before taking if you're pregnant): ******* 5 grams L-Arginine, 5 grams L-Citruline, 5 grams L-Glutamine, Micronized Creatine (micro is easier on stomach...amount depends on how much you exercise)....mix all powders into 30mg of protein powder and water (or milk, etc). I taste none of the supplements in the drink. I then take the following in gummy form as I drink and eat (pill is fine too, but I'm kinda a kid and they taste like candy): 1 multi-vitamin; 2,000 mg B3; 2,000 mg Biotin; 200 mg CoQ10 enzyme; Ocuvite eye health; Zinc (10 - 30 mg depending on what I fee like). I'll be adding Vitamin E and some fish oil as well soon. My EVENING supplements are always 2,000 B3, and whatever else I wanna pop in from the collection. I live in Seattle, and have no real way to collect Vitamin B naturally, so supplementing that a couple times a day helps A LOT. I don't take any other supplements during the day, but do consume another couple basic protein drinks here and there. I won't bore you with my workout supplements, which are basically a smaller combination of the aforementioned stuff, plus some EVL amino acids. Feel free to reach out to me if you want, and maybe I can be of more help somehow.

I've been using this shampoo for two months now and have experienced noticeable results. What I noticed first about this shampoo is the creamy lather it generates from a very small amount of shampoo. After two months of daily use, about one-third of the bottle remains. I do have short hair, but even so, a little of this shampoo goes a long way. At this rate, this bottle will end up lasting three months. The second thing I love about this shampoo is the aroma. It smells like ocean waves with a hint of floral. The scent is mild and not overbearing. Thirdly, this shampoo leaves my hair soft and silky without weighing it down. The result is just the right amount of volume. I also noticed that even after several minutes of massaging the shampoo into my scalp, there are virtually no stray hairs shedding onto my hands. With my old shampoo, I would usually find several hairs between my fingers. I believe this shampoo is helping me to keep the hair I have. Finally, and the most important reason for me to buy this shampoo is that I noticed some hair growth along my hairline in front and at the crown of my head where my hair was thinning. It did take time to work, it wasn't an overnight miracle, but it is working for me. Here is my regimen and how I use this shampoo. I thoroughly wet my hair, apply a small amount of shampoo starting with the areas that are suffering hair loss the most, and massage my scalp for about five minutes. I leave the shampoo on my head for another fifteen to twenty minutes, then rinse. I gently towel dry by patting my scalp, and I apply a small amount horsetail herb oil where hair loss is the greatest. I also take a multi-vitamin and a supplement that contains 5000 mcg biotin and horsetail. I've been pleased with the results and, in fact, I'm going to purchase the two-pack shampoo today now that I know this is an excellent product. I hope that if you try this, it's successful for you as it has been for me.

I have very fine hair and not much of it. The older I have gotten, the more hair I loose. No bald patches though. I have used this formula for 3 months. I also used it once a day. I work in an office setting and if I don't wash my hair 1xday, my hair looks very greasy. I would rub this into my scalp for about a minute than leave it in for 4-5 more minutes before I rinsed. I did not use the accompanying conditioner with this formula and just used kiss my face conditioner. Within the first week, I noticed the texture of my hair plumped up. Within 2 weeks, I noticed I was NOT shedding much at all. I have an average hair growth rate and did not notice my hair growing at a quicker rate. I personally think other people are using too much product, the 1 bottle I bought got me through 3 months, daily use and I still had about 1/4 of the bottle left. Remember, it't only the scalp you really want to work on. The biggest difference was not when I started, BUT when I gradually switched over to the new stronger/improved formula. I did this just past the 3 month mark. I didn't switch cold turkey, but used 1/2 of each for shampooing (also starting using the conditioner at this time). All the hair that I wasn't shedding before, came out now. So yes, this older formula made a difference. Will I buy it again, I don't know. It's a bit of $, unless you buy a 3 pack and it still contains sulfates. I'm going to give the new formula some time, before I make any decisions on if I will continue to buy this companies products. Also I did not receive a discount for my review, I paid full price. Hope this review helps.

I think I have a unique perspective on this product vs. 99% of the other reviews as I have used it daily for 4.5 years. As a baseline, I have not actively used any other hair loss products. Unless you want to count castor oil I used for about a month on my scalp early on. I am a male in my early 50s. I developed pattern balding in my 40s. A bald spot (all the way to skin) developed that was over 2 inches radius in 2018. Hair on top of my head was also thinning. I started using this in fall of 2018. Within about 3-6 months, about half of the hair grew back. Today, it's probably slightly fuller than that. The bald spot is now only thinning hair so it looks much better. It's also stopped any other hair loss. Hair overall feels good with some more volume and the scent is mild on this one which is fine by me. So is this product for you and your hair loss? Maybe. Maybe not. It depends on your situation. But for around $20 for a bottle that lasts about 2.5 months, it's a no brainer. It's not a miracle worker, but for the money and quality, it can't be beat. Further background: I've been vegan for many years and have been taking a daily multi-vitamin, B12, and omega-3. Note: I have been using the yellow bottle for almost the entire time. I used the red bottle with the gold label once or twice but discovered it wasn't vegan. I tried another from their line (black bottle "for men") this last time because the yellow label bottle was out of stock. It's fragrance is too strong so I will be going back to the yellow bottle.
