I recently tried the Biogreen Roots Herbal Natural Black Hair Color Shampoo (400ml) along with the 200ml Hair Treatment, and I'm very pleased with the results. The shampoo effectively covered my gray hairs, providing a rich, natural black color. It's easy to apply and doesn't have a strong chemical smell. The hair treatment left my hair feeling soft, smooth, and healthy. Overall, this product is a great option for those looking for a natural hair color solution with added conditioning benefits.

I have been using another herbal hair shampoo that I purchased from Amazon. I decided to try this one this time and must say that I was not disappointed. It does not feel as harsh on my scalp as the other product, covers greys well and does not stain my skin as much as the other product. I gave it 4 stars as I have only used this once and would like to regularly use this prior to adding the 5th star.

Very good and effective

I've used pretty much everything under the sun trying to color my greys from henna to Just For Men, etc and I would say this hair shampoo is hands down the best out there. Super easy to apply to the hair and within 10-15 minutes, I get a my natural black hair look that last good one week (until my grey hair grows out). I love that this doesn't stain your skin like many other products out there. Pro Tip: Apply some Vaseline around your hairline before you apply the dye and no mess and it easily washes out in the shower. AND not like other products, it doesn't stain your shower walls when you're washing it out. No chemical burning sensation. This is my favorite and go to choice. In addition, the customer support is fantastic via Amazon message center and prompt and professional.

I eventually switched to Creme of Nature hair color, but here's my review of the Biogreen herbal product. Pros: Even a beginner can use it. It doesn't irritate my scalp, and I have sensitive skin. (Everyone is different, though; test first.) It costs pennies on the dollar, compared to going to a salon. Cons: Color "coats" hair, leaving it dry and crunchy. The strong, ozone-like smell lingers for days. For me, the color doesn't even last 2 weeks. Could my alcohol-free facial toner be taking the color off? TIP: If you have type 4 hair, I recommend blowing it out semi-straight beforehand. It will be MUCH easier to spread the thick gel throughout. Or just do the edges and call it a day, ha ha. My process... 1. USING GLOVES (buy a box for future uses), apply the product to **dry** hair -- it's not a shampoo, despite the name. Be sure to cover the roots. 2. Leave on for at 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Don't detangle yet. ** 3. Wash with a shampoo for color-treated hair. (If you want to use a deep-cleaning/clarifying shampoo, do that the day BEFORE coloring.) 4. Apply a deep conditioner and cover for 15 to 30 minutes before rinsing. 5. Detangle, apply leave-ins, and style. ** If I don't condition before detangling, the smell and dryness (from the color) are pretty bad, and I'll have more shedding.
