It's 595mg, it's round, coated and easy to swallow. I have a very narrow esophagus. I need to have an EGD done every year to widen it. So that swallowing is much easier for me. I don't have any difficulty swallowing this pill. Which I take in the morning, with my prescription medication and my other vitamins. It's 595mg and the bottle says to take one a day. I take 2 of them. My potassium is always extremely low. Whenever my PCP does my blood work. Of course, I never get enough through the foods that I eat. There's 250 caplets in a bottle for $7.99.
