Scott paper towels great value for cleaning spills

I have been using these paper towels for years. I find they are the best “bang for your buck”. That said, when I compared the price of these to the ones I typically buy elsewhere, I did not realize there are fewer sheets on these rolls. The price, size, quality, and other variables have changed radically over the past few years. So, comparing prices requires more diligence. I will tell you that the quality of the ones I recently received through the other supplier seems to have suffered. The “core” cardboard is different, the paper seems “thinner” and not as soft, but those last two just may be my impression. I have not opened these packages to check them, yet. One of the big reasons I have been buying these is for their strength coupled with their softness. During the pandemic, I could not find tissues and resorted to using these. I actually have determined that these not only are more cost efficient, they are also stronger, so I use less. As a result, the “price per blow” is lower! lol

Paper towels aren't what you think they are. They are thin and don't absorb well. Might be cheaper, but not worth it.
