I use only cast iron pans and this turner works extremely well for 90% of my cooking . This tool works well for scraping stuck on food , cutting IE; eggs/french toast or sneaking under delicate items . i have tortured this turner almost daily for 6 years and rivets are still intact and flexible part is still like new considering its thin profile . When i cook fish, monster burgers or other heavier foods i use a different ALL-CLAD turner
