How do you open the sharpener to empty it?

The entire top that flares out (a darker plastic piece) comes off. Use your thumbs to push it up & off. It's so tricky that there are videos for how to do it online (just search "how do I open Prismacolor pencil sharpener).

Do you sell replacement blades

As far as I know there are no blades to exchange. The price of the whole item is relatively cheap. Just buy a new one
