I have been using Blistex for over 40 years. I have tried almost everything and there is NOTHING like the original medicated. Blistex just puts the moisture back. Period. Not only that, it is the best PRIMER for your lips, hands down. No matter what you put on them…liner, lipstick, gloss. Whatever it is that you use. For years people could not understand how my lipstick would stay on all day! Simple, apply the Blistex after I wash my face, apply let it soak in as you would your moisturizer. After my other make up was finished I would use a liner to define and cover the entire lip and then apply my lipstick. I’ll also say it is a lifesaver for lipstick that stays put or is matte because it penetrates through without messing up your lip line. No, you won’t grow dependent. No, your lips won’t stop making their own moisture. A little goes a long way. It’s not greasy it’s not sticky it’s soaks in it disappears completely. It’s perfect for both male and female it’s not chapstick waxy, it’s doesn’t just lay on top… it’s just the best product. I’ve always had the softest lips and I have never ever in all my days never not once have I had to use a lip scrub. It’s my secret weapon! Let me put it this way….If I was on survivor, this would be my luxury item.

I love the way Blistex heals my dry, chapped lips! It goes on smoothly, and the menthol is so cooling and comforting. The applicator tip is angled and provides for easy application. I especially like the consistency, which is more of a creamy consistency rather than a wax like the tube lip balms. I live in a very hot, dry climate, so this Blistex in a tube can become quite runny when carried around outside an air conditioned building. You just need to remember not to squeeze the tube if you apply it to your lips when it’s hot outside. You just need to change the angle to a more horizontal angle as you apply it, and the product will come out on its own as you move it over your lips. I like to refrigerate it during the summer months. It works very quickly to moisturize and heal dry, chapped lips and is very soothing. I highly recommend Blistex!
