Lifefactory 22-Ounce Active Flip Cap Glass Water Bottle, 22oz, Carbon

I have been searching for a water bottle that's glass with a wide enough mouth that I could put a shaker ball in it. I've only found a few in glass (I don't get it, glass tastes better, doesn't smell and doesn't have any harmful chemicals to leach into body but try finding a glass shaker bottle there are not many on the market) and have been unhappy with them because either the mouth is not wide enough, the circumference is too big for my hand, the spout drips when you drink from it, the measurements on the bottle are hard to read, it's hard to clean or it breaks easily. FINALLY! This ticks all the boxes - I just threw a small shaker ball in there and it's perfect for my smoothies. I love how the measurements are in both ounces and in ML and easy to read and measure. It's easy to clean, the spout is the best around I don't end up spilling it down my shirt. And it's perfect size for my hand not to big. I also like the handle so you can easily carry. I am glad the top is not glass, because I've had glass tops before and they break and you have to pitch the whole thing. This is sturdy with the glass body and the top is really great. It's a perfect bottle!

I love these bottles. I have a serious habit of drinking only sparkling water, but I'm trying to save money. This water bottle is glass, so if I put some flavors or something other than water in, it won't hold scent or flavor of it. It is rather heavy as it is made of a thick glass. I love the silicone sleeve around it. That makes it easy to take places. The lid has a flip top to drink from, or you can just unscrew the top of you want a faster flow. It is easy to clean the lid and bottle. Not a lot of hidden crevices. I am hoping to increase my water intake!

To be clear, the 5 stars are for the bottle itself, and Lifefactory, and NOT for Amazon. The bottle itself is great, as expected for Lifefactory, as I've owned several of their bottles before. I really like the handle on the lid. It's very comfortable to carry. I plan to buy a 2nd bottle- however, I will be purchasing it directly from Lifefactory this time around. Amazon shipped this glass bottle to me in a thin part envelope, not a box, with zero padding or protection. It's a flipping miracle that it arrived with no chips or scratches. How TF is that a safe way to transport glass? As with everything else to do with their business, each purchase I make from Amazon is worse than the last. Once again, I will be taking my business elsewhere when purchasing water bottles. Highly recommend ordering directly from Lifefactory when purchasing this bottle, as yours may not be as lucky as mine was during shipping.

I love, love, love, this bottle. The opening makes it far easier to drink, the measurements make it very easy to control the amount you drink each sip/gulp and the rubber encasing make it more durable. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because you need to be very careful when screwing the top on. It tends to not seal properly and then it drips when you drink. Knowing this, you need to make sure it’s secured properly each time.

I bought this for my car, because the 24 oz bottle, from 2013, doesn’t fit. This 16 oz size fits great. Lifefactory has updated the lid since I bought my first bottle in 2013. The spout is larger and made of hard plastic instead of silicon. It also sits weirdly on the bottle. I had to have the lid replaced because it wouldn’t screw on straight (leaked EVERYWHERE). Second lid fits straight, but I still think it’s odd that it has to “click” into position for it not to leak. The older lid just screw on. I also have to be careful when tilting it back to drink. Once I tilt it too far, to fast, and poured water up my nose. Definitely operator error, but still unpleasant. Some pros on the new lid are it’s easier to drink more water, because it flows freely. It should also reduce “water bottle” wrinkles around the mouth, since you don’t need to purse your lips. It’s also easier to clean. The silicone insert for the spout comes out nicely for a good thorough cleaning. Same with the silicone gasket. Overall, these are great bottles and they last a very long time. Highly recommended product for the cost, longevity and environmental factor.

We love these glass bottles. Have given several as gifts to friends and family. Much better that plastic. Well made, sturdy, and the protective sleeve does its job.

Allot I like. The glass the silicone around glass, wide opening. What I don’t like needs a seal when screwing on top. Leaked multiple times. This would make me look for a slightly better product . Why doesn’t it have a crush gasket seal ?

My mom bought me one of these years ago when I got my first office job because she was worried about the water in the old buildings downtown. I still have it and use it daily and that was almost 10 years ago. My husband had a cheaper brand that broke after a few months so I decided to get him the same one I have even though these are pricier. Definitely worth it for such a good quality product.

The glass can endure many types of drinks and still be easy to clean afterwards. The silicone sleeve is adequate protection. Weight is a concern though. What's important to me is that it can hold boiling water no problem.

This water bottle lid does not have a seal so it leak all the time . The mouth piece doesn’t close properly either so it leak from there too . Seriously, don’t spend your money on this .

The only thing is that the hole to were you drink is to big and the water comes out to fast
