I’ll give this head torch the benefit of the doubt for the same as the one I had before, but, I do notice it is not 6000lms for brightness, it’s not as bright as my previous RJ-3001 head torch which isn’t on the market. Such a shame as this version was so much brighter and better made. The LED chip was a little bluer in tint but brighter. This version the RJ-3000 is more whiter and not as bright. It can be compared easily off the walls and in a dark room for the way it casts a light in areas compared to my previous. As such, it’ll be returned on a performance related issue as not being as described and not 6000lms. The way this has been screened through quality control is disappointing.

Good quality head torch , the white light is bright and has good range. Ideal when working on anything that needs extra light. I use the red light when out walking the dog , as it doesn't spook the wildlife

This is the 2nd one I have bought. The one from 2015 is still going strong but need replacement batteries. This new one is an improvement on the original. USB charger is much easier. 100% the right choice

Actual torch and battery quite heavy, but once you have got used to it, it is fine. Other half wears hat under his. As well as cycling to work at 4am with it, have found it useful when decorating or searching in confined spaces. Really pleased with this.
