I recently wore this balaclava while skiing at Killington on a frigid and windy day, with wind chills reaching -6°F. The balaclava performed admirably in keeping my head warm and provided good breathability over the mouth and nose. Additionally, it's super lightweight, making it convenient to store in my ski jacket when taking breaks in the lodge. One minor issue is that the eye opening can feel a bit narrow, but this is easily remedied by pulling down on the mouth covering. While the fit is snug, I personally didn't find it uncomfortable. However, I can see how some people might prefer a slightly looser fit, especially around the mouth. Despite this, I've ditched my gaiter and skull cap in favor of this balaclava, and it will be my go-to for future ski trips.

I love the look, but the only issue I have is the front portion. I still fuel the wind blow. I still feel cold there, but as far as we’re standing in wind and irritative, it does that but the front Porsche I still feel cold so it’s not quite the way the advertised that caused me to buy this product that is to keep you warm. I think it does 80% of that.
