I have been a loyal phillips customer even though it overheats and damages clothes. I bought optimal temp as i thought it was me and i did not know how to control the temp on the iron. But was not very happy with the steam power as creases could still be seen after a slow pass over cloth and when it broke i bought phillips steam generator for over 500 aed. It was alright but there was a problem with the button for steam and water was leaking and it arrived damaged. I watched the tutorial on how to use this type of Philips steam generator iron but still had problems getting knife edge creases on shirts and pants. I returned the phillips steam generator and bought this kenwood iron on a lark as i needed an iron immediately as i do my own ironing. This iron effortlessly removes creases on a single pass on full steam mode and creates perfect knife edge creases on my pants. I was planning to pick up a phillips azur but i am certain that would be a waste of time and money.

Item gets heated up and stick to cloth everytime.. and also water gets leaked

Good, light weight, does the job very well, but couldn't read the engraving on knobs and dials, so took me about 3 days at ironing to get the settings correct, also the purple color is not transparent enough, so don't know how much water is inside (for steam), the plastic where you insert the water looks weak (but has not yet broken, so might be ok). But once the settings were done correctly, I am impressed. Technology has moved on since I last purchased a Iron and this is very good at ironing, at speed, lots of steam exit points (removes creases very quickly) and so far, due to lots of steam not yet burnt any clothes (but will keep trying). Just have to get used to the controls (which are invisible).
