Out does the Chamber series
This is a must read. The plot twists and turns like a snake in the grass or dough being made into a pretzel. Starting with Booth’s assassination of Lincoln as a backdrop, the story has a murder in the Smithsonian, a detailed view of Freemasonry and all the courtroom theatrics you want. Nothing is clear, everything is in doubt and when you think you’ve gotten to the end you find you haven’t.

Fascinating!
If you are at all interested in puzzles, in esoteric possibilities, and most importantly in solid research that brings a book to an exciting conclusion, you will enjoy this book. It will keep you on your toes following the trail this excellent author leads you on. I loved it, never was sure where it was going next, but thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The ending was perfect.

What a great read
This was a great read. The characters had depth and the pace was fast. The "come to Jesus" moment was awesome. It was written with care. I liked how he resolved all the questions in the end.

Interest captivated
Such a great read and very captivating story line for a summer novel. I plan to read another by this author. I enjoyed as much as I have the better Grisham novels.

Good read
I have always been a Grisham fan but Parshall knows how to write a good legal whodunit. Would definitely recommend.

Captivating legal thriller
The first bit of the book to me was almost painful. I was considering returning but decided to press on a bit. Glad I did! Reminded me a bit of a Baldacci book but more truthful. Plenty of twists, a little bit of danger, history, theology, plenty of suspense and hard to put down.
