I just renovated my kitchen, and this cool looking trashcan is a good fit for it. It's surprisingly light for its size.

Je suis ravie d’avoir acheter cette poubelle ! Poubelle originale, beau design, pratique par sa hauteur, plus besoin de bouger la poubelle lorsqu’on nettoie le sol. Très bonne contenance. Le seul hic, le prix! Même si je ne regrette pas.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and unfortunately we didn't have enough space for in-cabinet rubbish/recycling . The last thing I wanted to do was have an ugly trash bin in my brand new kitchen. Then I found Brabantia. Is it a spaceship? Decorative storage? Art deco sculpture? Nope, it's where we chuck our waste and recycling. This bin complements my new kitchen beautifully, and to be honest we get more compliments on our bin than we do on anything else in our house! Guests can't believe trash can be beautiful. I'm sold! Yes, the bin liners are expensive. So are new tyres on a Ferrari. If you buy the best, it's not going to be cheap to 'maintain'. I have the bin that's divided in 3 compartments, and yes, I find myself taking out the trash/recycling far more frequently. To be honest, I don't mind, as it's more hygienic to do so. No regrets here, I'm a Brabantia fan for life!

I adore this bin, had it well over a year and its still perfect. We have underfloor heating so I wanted a bin that was raised off the floor as I didn't want the rubbish to heat up 🤣 and this has worked out perfectly. It's a stunning shade of green, and its very stylish - everyone always compliments the bin 🤣 I've been impressed with the quality and its relevatively light but feels high quality. It is expensive, but I think it's been worth it for us as other cheaper bins have broken easily or just not looked as nice on display, so I would rebuy in the future if it does break as i think its been worth the price. Lid is sturdy, we use it for our main rubbish bin so it gets a lot of use and had zero issues.

I've been using the bin near enough a year now and the latch is still working well, as that is a part that often starts to go on other bins. The Platinum colour looks nice in person, it is more of a deep satin Bronze (actual platinum is a steel-like colour...) and goes well with a neutral room - wouldn't recommend for a warm coloured room, like cream. Biggest gripe is potential cleaning difficulty - the inner bin bag holders come out and are easy enough to clean, but the base of the bin is solid plastic has lots of places for stuff to get stuck and doesn't look like it comes out easily, so if you accidentally threw something gross in whilst the inserts were out you would not have fun cleaning it out! Thankfully I've yet to do this...
