This face wash powder is very gentle and good for my sensitive skin. A small amount lathers enough to cover my whole face and neck. Don't expect it to lather like a gel cleanser, this will look more like a thin cream cleanser after you mix a small amount in your palm. I use it as a second step in my double cleanse method following DHC oil cleanser in the evening or rarely alone in the morning. My skin isn't oily and it doesn't require washing in the morning. I know this comes as a shock to some people but if you do a very thorough cleansing before going to bed, you may not need to cleanse your face again in the morning, especially if you use actives at night that you don't want to wash off in the morning. This is backed by my dermatologist but talk to yours first, obviously.
