Gel Fx Gel Nail Color - 30773 Halo by Orly for Women - 0.3 oz Nail Polish

My nail salon did not reorder this color, so I bought my own. It’s a shiny pinkish, but natural color. Stays on for 2 weeks with a professional gel manicure.

So far, I have been pleased with the application and longevity of the Orly GelFX line. I have an issue with this particular color ‘window shopping’ in 2 areas. 1. Application. It is extremely translucent. I applied 3 coats of color and you can still see streaks and my nail bed peeping through. 2. The color itself. I was looking for a rich, jewel tone berry color, which I feel is what the color swatch on the bottle indicates. The color inside is so so different. It is less of an autumn berry color and more like something you might like if you’re in need of a darker pink for a Trixie Mattel/Barbie look. Even my pictures don’t do the disparity justice. When I used it under the LED it fluoresced like you would expect a neon color to do under blacklight. That being said, it’s not a bad color, just not what I was looking for. The hunt continues. I probably wouldn’t buy this again even if I were looking for this color, due to how translucent the color is.
