Power AcoustikPCX-30F 30-Farad Capacitor

This cap is NICE and CHEAP by comparison with other farad caps. It works perfectly for what I need it to do. I have it supplementing the current needs of a Power Acoustik Stax 4000 watt mono block and a Stax 1600/4. Before it was installed the highs would dim and the bass would get muddy an never quite reached full potential during difficult musical passages. Now that it is installed the highs are bright and the lows can play for days as loud as I want with out taking a break. In short I would recommend this to anyone who is not ready to get the bank of batteries and the high powered alternator for several hundred dollars. Although if you can afford it go for it it can't hurt and this would be the icing on the cake. This Farad cap will help tremendously with giving your amps what they crave instantaneous high current spikes up to 14 or more volts. This.... makes me smile. Yours truly, The Happy Bass Head:>

IT was on time and looks great. box was damaged in shipping but item was ok. it works perfect and my lights don't dim one bit.

Broke upon opening. Small cap on board broke. Mind you this was a used device but only expected it to have blemishes as advertised. I paid extra for next day so i could use this today. I eneded up fixing this but would bot expect someone that would use this for audio to be ok with a cap rolling around and be able to fix it (cap posts were sheerd) i did have the ability to see how good of a design it was inside. Very disappointed. Caps had the labels removed with no indication of what they were. I highly doubt that this is a 30f cap. And for sure not a hybird capacitor as advertised.

This cap is good for its price.It's a good brand as well.This cap does very well with heavy bass, but it doesn't seem to like a ton of it or else it can't keep up with it.I bought this cap to keep my headlights from dimming so much, and it fixes 90% of the problem.I can still notice slight dimming, but not as much.So it's doing exactly what I want it to do.There is one thing that surprises me, and that is that even though the remote signal is off, the positive terminals are still live.So be careful.Anyways, it does what I bought it for and it looks really nice.4/5, I would recommend this item.
