Very good combs

I love to dress vintage, but I really struggle with styling my hair. I have POTS and can't keep my arms up for long, so my hair is usually boring. Then I saw a post about hair accessories no one really uses anymore and was reminded about hair combs. I had forgotten how well they hold my baby fine hair. I'm so glad I ordered these! They're prettier than the basic ones with just a straight edge. And while simply pulling the sides of my hair back is more 80s than 50s, it's still a vintage style that's easy to do, is comfortable, keeps all my hair out of my face, and doesn't look quite so jarring with my 50s style clothes. I've used them a few times now and they're holding up well. They're a harder plastic than the slightly flexible pastel ones I used in the 80s and 90s, so they might be a bit more brittle, but no problems so far. They slide into my hair easily, though they are a bit sticky on damp hair. They stay in place all day, and even though they're sometimes uncomfortable to get properly positioned, I don't notice them at all once they're in place. I like the variety of colours. The light brown probably won't get used much until all the other are lost or broken, but the darker brown is a good match for my hair when I want them to blend in. The clear, I like to wear with light colored clothing, and the black with darker colors.

Price. I needed to hold up my shorter hair ends and these combs offered variety of style as well as efficiency.

They're a comfortable size and shape, they work until they don't. I have thick hair, that may have been what done them in. I can hear & feel the teeth breaking off in my hair. I'm down to only 2 of each color, so I'm glad I started with 4 of each. I picked them for the good price, not thinking they may be fragile. I liked the color options and quantities. I can usually keep them in all day but they get loose at the gym. They're even pretty comfortable under my motorcycle helmet.

They don’t damage your hair and they don’t break. They look really nice. I bought four sets to have spares. For reference, I have very thin hair but lots of it. It reaches almost to my waist. Those do the job without weighing me down. For lots of hair, you may need to use two of those combs at a time, like me.

I either got a bad batch or they as free just too delicate. Several have broken on me and I have soft hair and don't use them in wet hair. Can continue using when the teeth break but I feel like they were left in the heat or sun to make them so fragile. For the price and how many you get, I didn't bother returning them bc every set I get from every store ends up breaking.

Ich bin voll und ganz zufrieden mit diesen schönen Haarkämmen, obwohl bei einem Kamm eine Zacke gebrochen ist. Ich würde sie auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen und empfehle sie somit 100 % tig weiter.
