One of the best ferret foods
This is one of the best ferret foods on the market. So much better for your ferrets than Marshall's. It's a bit more expensive than other brands but the price is worth it. I rescued 2 malnourished ferrets and switched them to this and they were able to get back to regular weight in no time

Ferret Food Excellent Quality Ferret Food—My Ferrets Thrive on It!
Excellent Quality Ferret Food—My Ferrets Thrive on It! I’ve tried several ferret foods over the years, and this one is by far my favorite—and more importantly, it’s my ferrets’ favorite too! From the moment I introduced it, they dove right in with excitement. The ingredients are high-quality and specially formulated for ferrets, providing the protein-rich diet they need to stay healthy and active. I’ve noticed shinier coats, better digestion, and more consistent energy levels since switching to this food. It also doesn’t have that overly fishy or artificial smell that some other brands do. I feel confident knowing I’m giving them something nutritious that supports their overall well-being. If you’re a ferret owner who wants peace of mind and happy, healthy pets, I highly recommend giving this food a try. It’s become a staple in our home!

Great all around
Best quality, made in Canada. Digestive support most recommended by breeders. Value for the money better than the next best ferret food. Good size for ferret size. Must taste great as my cats sneak in to have a meal to.

Best food short of RAW diet!
Our daughter is nine years old, going on sixteen. She decided that she wanted a ferret and began a very well organized campaign to convince my wife and I to let her have a ferret. She did tons of research, and used psychological tricks, played us against one another and several other very well planned out tactics to trick us into getting her not one, but two ferrets. (One ferret would be lonely and potentially more destructive during the day when she was at school - two ferrets would have each other for company.) One thing she did that was commendable was the vast amount of research that she did before we got the ferrets. I am a research kind of guy, and spent a lot of time finding just the right food for our dog. So she copied my techniques and did a great deal of research on the proper food. She learned that the ideal diet for a grown ferret is live baby chicks or live baby mice. This seemed impractical for our family, so we set out to find a better alternative. Enter the Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 Digestive Support - Dry Ferret Food. It appears to be the next closest thing the RAW Diet, while still giving them the proper nutrients that an obligate carnivore needs. Also, there has been some discussion over the richening of the "plain" Epigen 90 food, so the Digestive Support seems to be the better choice of the two. Our ferrets love it, and are growing and healthy and refuse most other (ferret) treats or scrambled eggs or other approved treats. They really like this food and it is working well for them. I recommend it highly.

Wysong, Oxbow, Intune
I use this (Wysong), Oxbow, and Intune mixed together for my ferrets food. If you can't find one temporarily then they're still used to the others and these are the best foods I've found for my boys. Highly recommend all 3!

Food is 5/5, subtracted a star for other reason
The food is a 5/5, its a good ferret food, pretty good quality for kibble, just make the switch slow cus it'll cause diarrhea (and for super picky ferrets just pay attention cus my little menance of a boy would pick out and eat only the old food at first so I pulled him aside and gave him ONLY this when he was hungry and he ate it then mixed it again) - I gave 4 stars just cus when mine arrived it had this gross blue goo on the bag, its never happened before when I've ordered it, idk what its from

THIS FOOD MAKES A DIFFERENCE
This food is great! At first my ferrets didn't want to try it. I put it in the cage mixed with thier old food. They ended up eating the old food and leaving the new food. So I put two parts of thier old food and one part of thier new food in my Ninja Bullet. I grinded as fine as I could and spooned out a tablespoon for each and add warm water to make wet food. They inspected it and then gave it a try and ended up eating it. Now I feed them two parts new and one part old and they have no problem with it. One of my ferrets does only eat part of a portion but the other eats his portion and the rest of the others portion. BENIFITS: Thier fur became quite soft compared to it being coarse in the beginning. They gained a healthy amount of weight. NOTE: At first thier stools were quite runny. Gradually they did get more solid again after thier bodies adjusted to the new food. It may take a few weeks but it will happen. If feeding your ferrets a wet mix make sure to feed them a dry portion during the day also. This will help thier stools stay more solid. I haven't changed my ferrets completely over. This is due to the fact one of my ferrets prefers his old food. He still gets a portion of this food everyday. I figure something is better then nothing. IN CONCLUSION... Give Wysong a try. It is a healther choice compared to the ferret food that is offered in the stores. Research and get to know what ingredeints are good and bad in ferret food. Quality food does make a difference.

From bald to fuzzy
This is the only food I buy my ferrets. One of my ferrets who is 6 lost all her hair and was very thin…this came on suddenly and lasted a year I was trying everything not wanting to believe she had blood sugar problems or other common ferret problems the vet wanted to bandage not fix…when I looked back I realized I had fallen victim to traps of what the best food was and had changed her diet over the years from initially this to trying home cooked and other small brand options…long story short I thought this was expensive so I moved away from it seeking cheaper better food only to come back to where I started. Perfect Penny went from sick and bald to pudgy and fuzzy by the end of the bag. All my ferrets love it have energy, solid poop, beautiful fur, and one bag open bowl lasts 2 ferrets per month. Why I ever thought this was expensive is beyond me because it’s a great value.
