If you order this expecting to have a piece of fabric with a foam base, you are wrong. This is just a piece of fabric, not padded and will go straight on the iron board. My iron board base is bare metal, I could have used a bedsheet on its own and would have gotten the same result.

Excellent product and a true must-have! Having recently bought a brabantia ironing board with a built-in steam generator iron holder I thought that the ironing cover would be suited to steam ironing. However over the past few months whenever steam ironing the room gets very humid and the underside of the ironing board gets quite wet. After installing this cover there is much less humidity and the cover prevents the underside from getting wet! Really happy with this product!

Does what it says. Reasonably easy to fit. The price is insane though and the top cover doesn't really last that long (less than 1 year for me - twice).The cost for this cover is more than other complete ironing board and systems. There are expensive products and then there's this crazy priced product.

Much thinner than I was expecting so underlay is definitely needed under it, which fortunately I had also purchased. The fit was good and easy to apply to the ironing board.

Despite spending quite a while ensuring I bought the correct size, I just could not get a snug fit around my board. It is not brabantia. Padding (included which is nice) is thick so would not curve over /around edges. Cover not elasticated but has a pull string which doesn't do enough. Tightened now with a lot of cable ties and faffing. Presumably if the board was exact right size this would be easy.

The cover didn’t arrive with any sponge so I left my previous cover on underneath to act as added cushion.Bargain at this price compared to other sellers.Perfect packing, original product. Happy :)
