Lasted 7 years. Highly recommended for kids. Great father-son kite.
Overall great kite. Holds up well, is easy to launch and is stable at altitude. Highly recommended.I bought this kite when my son was 2. I would launch it myself, get it up high and help him hold the kite. After a few years he was able to help me launch the kite by running with me in light wind. Sometimes I helped him launch the kite. This kite gave us lots of good memories including the day my wife flew a kite for the first time because growing up she was unable to fly kites where she lived in a city. That September day had perfect weather in the low 70s at about an hour before sunset with a nice, steady breeze. It's awesome that one of the best, most relaxed days in my adult life was helped by a $15 kite. The kite is fairly sturdy and nose dived into the asphalt and grass many times. It has gotten stuck in trees a few times. But still the fabric held the support posts in place very well. The kite is so stable I was once able to make a homemade drone by duct taping my cell phone to the kite to get some wobbly video from above the tree line. After 7 years with many uses each year in the spring, summer and fall, the fabric holding one of the supports gave out. I'm glad this kite is still available and I have purchased another. Not sure how long my son will have an interest in the kite but at least for now at age 10 it's still something fun for us to do on a breezy day.

From kids kite to High Flying old adult unit (good for kids, better for adults)
This was a fun flying kite that only needed a little help to make it stay up in Cleveland Ohio's wild weather but it was a good starter kite and now I will explore "In The Breeze" and their catalog for a more advanced kite. This one is good for kids especially after it gets started and passes through the lower winds it will stay up as long as the wind blows. You will need gloves for the string should you make the "Sparkler" really fly high. It's always fun to have the best kite in a large field of kite enthusiasts and today my starter took over with praise. Next time on the Edgewater Park field in Cleveland I will have a more advanced kite and make sure that everything comes from the the InTheBreeze Amazon store I found that by putting a hole through the middle and giving the separate pipe someplace so high winds would not cause problems made this kite fly higher and longer. I tested it both ways and was determined to have the highest flying kite so by adapting the out of the bag kite with a simple hole though the middle it made it fly like a champion. .

Breezy and Beautiful
The little one loves this huge kite! It's a pretty big kite and on a windy day, it stays up in the sky. I definitely recommend this product for the young ones. This one is definitely better quality than the cheap ones you find in stores and it's bigger too. I tried to look for a kite that didn't break apart very easily and that was constructed well without spending too much money. I came across this one I have to say that I am very impressed. It is bigger than it looks online, and with enough wind, it will soar in the air. We have so much fun with it, and I wish we would play with it more.

Good Fun
I got this kite to fly over the summer, and it flew fantastic for 3 guys who haven't flown a kite in 10+ years. If you're a beginner you should definitely think about this kite as an option.I have 2 main issues with this kite.1) It does not fly well in moderate to strong winds, I'm not sure if it's due to the sturdiness of the kite design (or lack of) or if all kites suffer in strong winds (again, ~0 experience), but our kite was highly prone to dipping in the semi strong winds but was almost perfect in the low-moderate wind. I would not recommend this to people who are looking to fly in an area with strong winds.2) My kite broke the third time I used it. The backbone of the kite tore through the main nylon part of it after a hard crash. Now this was when I used it in strong winds, so it was definitely my fault for not being more careful with it. It crashed at least 2 dozen times prior to its demise so I can also say that it is pretty sturdy for its big size. Again, I'd say it was more my fault for still flying it when I knew it would be dangerous but since it broke so soon I gotta detract a star. It was a sick kite while it lasted though, as it looks very cool and is very easy to spot in the sky.

Fun, Not a Serious Kite However
Great for the occasional flyer or for a trip to the beach. Not for the serious enthusiast. Thin nylon, sturdy fiberglass frame. Hs held up so far.Do yourself a favor and get a spinner/string winder. See my review of Como Kite Tool Ballbearing Blue Plastic Reel Line Winder New.

Very nice kite for the money
I researched the option of making my own delta kite before this purchase and decided to go with this kite instead given the low cost. I am impressed with the ease of setup, quality of materials, and the included spool and string. The rods are fiberglass and the material is ripstop nylon. The stitches in the fabric are very good with adequate reinforcement at the rod ends. The kite glides true and stable. It makes a very nice gift too as my daughter enjoys flying it.The string is very good quality, and I used a bowline knot to attach it to the kite. It make it easy to untie if needed, yet keeps a strong, secure knot.

EASY TO FLY!!
This is a great kite for beginners. Easy to assemble and fly. Would highly reccomend for first time flyers. I have flown alot of kites and i still love this one because it goes up even with low wind speeds. It has hit the water on several occasions and I was able to fish it out easily and it went right back up in the air from the water!! I used it so much i had to reinforce the tip and the pockets that hold the frame in place with a needle and thread because they started poking thru. I will probably be ordering another one soon. This is a great kite.

Great kite
Our 4 year old grandson got this kite flying right away in a steady breeze. It has two built in rods along the sides and a third that is the cross brace, so really easy to assemble. Flew nicely in a low to moderate breeze with all the string let out.

Classy looking kite
Simple to fly. I take it for "walks" in the field behind my house, and it follows without dive bombing or crashing to the ground. It looks very striking in the sky.

no vuela
Es muy difícil de controlar, siempre se cae hacia el lado izquierdo.

Excellent choice
This kite practically flew itself on the beach. Easy for my 6 year-old to use and it held up really well to strong Cape Cod winds. It's well-made and has a really long string. There is nothing not to like about it. The colours are vibrant from the ground.
