Best tea for PMS
The trick is to take it at least 7 days before your period starts. Cramping was down to a minimum when I figured out the timing.

When I was nearing the end of my pregnancy, my mother back home suggested that I start drinking organic raspberry leaf tea to help prepare for labor. She said it was something women in our family had always used — not as a magic potion, but as a gentle, natural way to get the body ready for childbirth. At first, I was a bit skeptical. I’d heard mixed things online — some people swear by it, while others say it doesn’t really do anything. But I trusted my mom’s advice and figured it couldn’t hurt to try something natural and soothing. I started drinking it around 34 weeks, just one cup a day. After a few days, I increased to two cups, and by 37–38 weeks, I was having about three cups a day. I used an organic brand (I chose Traditional Medicinals), and I’d usually steep it for about 10 minutes and sip it warm in the evening. The taste was surprisingly pleasant — kind of mild and earthy, not sweet but not bitter either. Sometimes I added a bit of honey or a slice of lemon for flavor. Within the first week, I started to feel gentle tightening in my belly — not painful, just light Braxton Hicks contractions. My midwife said that was normal and a sign my body was responding. As the weeks went on, I felt more “ready.” My energy was steady, I slept well, and overall, my third trimester felt smoother than I expected. When labor finally began, it progressed fairly steadily — my contractions were strong but manageable, and my midwife even commented that my uterus was “working efficiently.” Of course, I can’t say for sure the tea caused that, but I do feel it helped tone my uterus and maybe made my labor a bit more organized. My recovery afterward was quick too, and I continued drinking it for a couple of weeks postpartum to help my body heal.

I researched this tea and it’s great for toning the uterus as well as for menstrual discomfort. Luckily I don’t get major cramps but i do have light cramps on the first day. Drinking this tea helps. I drink 1 cup daily while I’m menstruating. Tastes really good with or without honey.
