My poor horse has a huge split in his nose from the cold which is obviously incredibly painful. This has been used for only a few days twice a day and is already starting to make a difference. It is really difficult to keep any kind of product on a horses nose due to grazing / eating hay, at least this has a bit of staying power!

Bag Balm is the most wonderful salve I've ever used and I always keep a tin of it in my 1st. aid kit and another in my bathroom. I first used it when milking a cow but found it marvelous for my dry hands. Then, over the years I used it for cuts, bruises, abrasions, sores, infections etc etc and every time without fail it helped heal whatever I used it on. This salve is a staple in my home like hydrogen peroxide so I urge you to buy some you will never regret it. By the way, I use it on my dogs and other animals too whenever they have a cut or sore and, of course, they end up licking it off but the sores always heal up quickly and if I don't use it, their sores get worse.

As with product blended with petroleum, the skin harden considerably if the balm is not applied regularly.

Don’t be fooled by other tin canisters that look the same. The one that says “First Aid” on the front and lists ingredients is the real thing. Sadly, I have been fooled by imitations but this is a miracle cream that aids in healing like no other! May be pricey for the small tin but it is worth it.
