The knife is good for most purposes of cutting soft substances However steel is just a little bit thin and in our case opening 3 coconuts broke it. So in case you need to use cleaver knife for the purpose it is meant to be, like breaking small bones, you probably want to go for some other brand.

I should have bought it earlier to save all energy and money. The knife works very well for coconut cutting or bone chopping. Highly recommended
