This is perfect for my 8 year old. It has what’s your fav films, books list and Plan your birthday I could go on. Lots to do and even relaxing colouring parts that everyone loves. Keeps girls busy for hours. Also it’s a good keepsake to look back on in the future. Product arrived very quickly too. I will definitely be buying her more of these books. Worth the money.

I bought this for my 10-year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. Note that it's not a book for stories, it's for your child to fill out things and facts about herself, about what she likes, about her friends etc. The book itself is of a size somewhere between A5 and A4 and with 130 pages, all of a good quality and great for your child to write in. Very nice. Result!

The art is very pretty, but I was disappointed by the prompts this book provides. Instead of focusing on helping a girl look inward at herself or outward at her life, it focuses heavily on rather trite/stereotypical things like "imagine if you had your own skin-care brand!" and "plan your perfect spa day!" and "let's imagine you were a vlogger!" and "what are the things you most want to buy?!" I was hoping it would be more... I dunno, inspirational? But I was pretty disappointed. The American Girl fill-in journal is, ironically, much better and less commercial. This one does have coloring pages, but the subject matter is... makeup. Or sunglasses. Or cupcakes. Or more makeup. The book isn't 100% as I've described it here (one stand-out activity involves the owner and her best friend answering various questions about each other to see how well they know each other) but the majority is, frankly, a dud.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of my daughter, it’s a really lovely idea. Lots of pages to fill in and also colouring in pages too. Both my daughters loved it and have asked for one each. I think any tween (9-12yr old) would love this. I think it’s a lovely idea for a kid to sit down and think about how the view themselves and the world. Would be great to keep and look back on when they are older.
