I have used a lot of Cerave products since first purchasing it 5 years ago. Saw this and decided to try it out too. I am very glad I did as this is now my go to moisturiser. I also use Vaseline - a very effective emollient but it is quite shiny and sticky, so I can only use it at night or if I don't plan to go anywhere. Also Aquaphor, which I also like. Petrolatum is still the main active ingredient for all three. However, Cerave combines it with other ingredients that enhance absorption so it does not feel like it's sitting on the skin whilst still excellent protective barrier. It is quite a lot more expensive that Vaseline. As a face moisturiser though, it is way cheaper that other night moisturisers especially considering that you only need a very small amount to cover face, neck, chest and hands. It even comes in huge tubs that will last you for ages! It has no fragrance and has added hyaluronic/ceramide benefits. An all-around win for me.

Good for applying on the skin during the night time on a regular basis

It melts into my skin. Non sticky. I use this at night and wake up with moisturised skin.

Its just a bit greasy at first but the skin is so soft and smooth afterwards

Amazing product, easy to use and bought relief to my father's painful cracked heals within a week. Best results: use it right after shower on damp skin and mostly at night.
