My vet had recommended a dental chew for one of my two dogs, so I decided to go with this bone. Both of my dogs absolutely LOVE these dog treats/bones! The eat them as soon as they get them - without hesitation! As soon as I open the bag, the dogs hear the sound and come running. The bones have helped with my dogs' breath and mouth cleanliness, so I am pleased with the quality. I am pleased with the nutrition label and am convinced that the bones are healthy for my pups. I have been giving my dogs these treats/bones consistently for more than a year and plan to continue. They are effective and a great value. I recommend if you are looking for a treat that helps your dog's breath and teeth.

These dog treats are a huge hit in my house! 🐶 Both of my dogs absolutely love them , they get excited the moment they hear the bag open. The quality is excellent, the texture is easy to chew (even for smaller dogs), and the ingredients seem really fresh. Great price for the amount you get, and no strong or unpleasant smell like some other brands. Definitely a repeat but and highly recommend for happy, tail-wagging pups!

These treats have great ingredients and are very effective at keeping my dog’s teeth cleaner and breath fresher. The size is perfect for a large breed — not too small, so it actually lasts a bit longer as a chew. They also have good training value, since my dog gets super excited as soon as he sees the bag. The eatability is perfect — not too hard, not too soft — and most importantly, my dog absolutely loves them. A reliable choice we keep buying again and again!

I’ve been giving Pedigree Dentastix to my large breed dog (a 60 lb golden doodle) for a few months now, and I’m really pleased with the results so far. He absolutely loves them — it’s the one “treat” that he consistently gets excited for, even more than biscuits or jerky. I give him one a day after dinner, and it’s become part of his routine. From what I can tell, the Dentastix do a decent job of freshening his breath. It’s not minty-fresh like a human mouth, but definitely an improvement from before. I’ve also noticed that the back teeth, where he chews the most, are looking a little cleaner and have less visible plaque. I wouldn’t expect miracles, but as part of a dental care routine, this is a solid addition. The sticks are firm enough to provide a bit of chewing resistance but not so hard that he gives up or swallows it whole. They’re the right size for big dogs, and they don’t crumble or make a mess. One box lasts about a month, which is reasonable for the price. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because I’d love to see even more noticeable results on his front teeth, and I wish the breath-freshening effect lasted a bit longer. But overall, this is a great product that does what it promises. I’ll definitely keep buying them.

I can’t tell what they taste like, but these are all my doggie looks forward to after her dinner. There’s nothing she likes more than these dentastix and her breath is always great. What an amazing buy! I’ve had a monthly subscription for the past year, and I finally came around to write this review just because of how happy they make both my dog and me with her breath.

A hit with my Portuguese Water dog! He gets excited when he sees the bag, and the fresh mint flavor seems genuinely tasty to him. The unique X‑shape chewy sticks are designed to help clean teeth and reduce plaque and tartar buildup, and I have noticed his breath smelling fresher and his teeth looking cleaner after a few weeks of daily use. I like that they’re formulated specifically for large breed dogs and that you only need to give one treat a day as part of a routine to support dental health. My dog thinks of it as a snack.

Our dog loves these dog treats! He used to resist going to bed at night. Now at about 9:00 he is very anxious to go outside for his last potty. When he comes in he runs into his bedroom, sits on his bed and does a very excited tap dance with his front paws. I give him his Dentastix and leave his room. We don't hear from him again until it is time for him to go out in the morning. And, we have the added benefit of clean teeth!

These are treats for our dog. Do not know if fresh or what they taste like can still afford human food.

Really disappointed with this product. It says for large dogs, but it’s the exact same size as the medium sized ones and thinner... my dog went through one faster than the medium size ones... definitely not worth the price...
