Best Ear Pressure Protection in the Market!
These are the best for ear pressure while flying. In my 20s, I flew from LA to San Francisco and due to the fog, the plane had to circle around for an hour and back then they did not have these types of devices or at that time I was not aware that I needed them! The pressure was unbearable ... like I though my brain was going to explode... bad is an understatement. When I got off the plane, I was disoriented, in total pain and super traumatized. I didn't fly for almost 15-20 years becasue of that experience. Then I discovered the Earplanes. They work well also. and I have tried almost all of the products on the market for ear pressure. I finally settled on these and these are my go to. I've flown with them multiple times from LA to Europe and Asia and domestically within Europe and Asia and US. Perfect. No problems. so no more fear of flying! I always carry multiple pairs for my family and in case I lose one... like I cannot and will not get on a plane without these... they are as important to me as the passport! The reason I like them better than the Earplanes is just for one reason. The Earplanes stick out of your ear while these are contained and have a little tab to grab in order to remove but for a long flight when you want to sleep, these are comfortable and don't bother me. I wear ear pressure protection during the whole flight. I don't remove them until I land. Not taking any chances... total ptsd lol Happy Travels!

Miracles - for me at least
I’ve written a similar “glowy” review for Earplanes, but Alpine are even better for me! The rest of this is super long, detailing my contrasting experience with each. Lots of you won’t care, be warned, and don’t be mad at me if you choose to read it all 😂 Bottom line: both work. Alpines are better. Context: I’m pretty well-traveled within the US, but only moderately so via air travel since I drive within 12 hours or so. I probably fly somewhere every 1-2 years. About a decade ago, when I began flying more frequently, I realized I was having excruciating ear pain. My left ear is always worse. Is my pain tolerance the highest out there? Unlikely. Nonetheless, there were a few flights where the pain was so bad, I thought my eardrum burst. Wiped my ear to check for blood. Crying while sitting next to a poor stranger. The pain would eventually reduce but hearing loss would last for over a week. I LOVE traveling, so I scoured the internet and discovered Earplanes first. I used them for a few years, including a trip from Boston to San Francisco to Hawaii and back - a vacation literal years in the making. They reduced my pain and hearing loss by probably 85%. I was SO happy, I remember crying from joy because the getaway we needed wouldn’t be marred by so much discomfort. Unfortunately Earplanes were single use only and very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Their instructions recommended leaving them in for entire flights, but I couldn’t tolerate them for 6 hours at a time. This meant breaking that seal and rendered them less effective when I put them back in a solid hour before landing. They were painful to me, but much better than nothing!!! On a recent Boston to Phoenix trip, I was restocking my Earplanes supply and tried out this brand as well. They’re it for me. Game changer. Super comfortable. So soft. Easy to take out and put back in, and made to do so. (That’s my husbands favorite part so he doesn’t look as controlling when ordering for me from flight attendants because I can’t hear ANYTHING with Earplanes. He uses to get suspicious looks 😂). These did a more effective job of balancing pressure for pain and hearing loss reduction for me. And they’re reusable!!! Huge money saver and a perk for someone kind of crunchy, like myself. They’re going to live in my airplane kit, and I may legitimately buy a backup. All of this said, I did purchase the child size Earplanes to try (perhaps the others are too large and less effective for me). I didn’t even try them, and not sure I will because the price to pay for a product not working well for me is pretty high. In contrast, Alpines completely eliminated my ear pain, and I only experienced hearing loss for maybe 30 minutes before they popped. No meds. Can you tell they’re there? Yeah. You’re wearing earplugs. But they didn’t hurt me. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who had bad ear pain while flying. Whether for work when you need to be in control of your body, or for play when you’re just trying to have a relaxing getaway!! Life’s too short and these are too affordable to just “deal” with that level of debilitating discomfort.

Amazing but got stuck
I have always had ear pain and popping issues when I fly to the point that I couldn’t hear out of an ear for a day or so after landing. I tried these on my trip to Florida and had great results. Less pain, less popping. Only issue was one of them got stuck in my ear and I had to get it out with a paper clip. I will bring tweezers in the future because they helped me so much. Being stuck is the only reason it isnt 5 starts. It needs a longer grabbing part.

The perfect solution for ear troubles when flying
These are the absolute best things to help with my ear/sinus issues that I experience when flying. I put them on before takeoff and leave them in for the duration of the flight. They seem to both help with the pressure and also reduce the noise. Typically, after landing, I have days and days of trouble. With these, my ears pop normally and by the time I collect my luggage, I am pretty much back to normal. Definitely give them a try if you have ear and sinus issues when flying. They fit me just fine and insertion and removal is not a problem.

Best Airplane Pressurizing Earplugs I’ve Found
I bought these Alpine FlyFit - Earplugs for Pressure Relief & Preventing Ear Pain While Flying - Airplane Travel earplugs. I’ve been using pressure equalizing earplugs when flying for about 20 years. Started with Earplanes, moved on to Flents for better comfort, and now I’ve found my new permanent solution: Alpine FlyFit ear plugs!! These are SO COMFORTABLE. There is absolutely no discomfort from wearing these. They were so comfortable that I wore them on my flight, in the airport to transfer, and then our connecting flight. I never took them out. They went in very easily and provided total relief from airplane pressurizing. I could hear well enough while wearing them, though they did mute the volume overall. They were very easy to put in and take out. And they are washable/reusable! I can’t recommend these ear plugs enough if you, like me, have problems with ear pain from the pressure going up and coming down on planes. They’re also great if you have clogged ears; they can help avoid major discomfort while flying. These Alpine Flyfits are simply the best I’ve used.

I usually struggle with ear pressure while flying, or after a flight, but these ear plugs worked wonders—no discomfort at all. I also used them on a high-speed train in Italy, where the pressure in tunnels was intense and painful. As soon as I put them in, the relief was almost immediate. They helped regulate the pressure automatically, and I don't know what I would have done without them. Truly a lifesaver—10 stars!

I trief it during 3 flights now and it did help a lot. No ear pain and the ear pressure was noticably less.
