Cheap plastic
Purchased 3/5/25. Item just broke off inside tailgate 6/5/25. Maybe the 3rd-4th time I put the tailgate down. Plastic is fragile

Holding plate needs changed
The handle was fine but the holding plate was made different from OEM part. I had to use old plate from broken handle.

Easy replacement/perfect fit
After 17 years, the original handle on my Ford Ranger broke (mostly because I never lubricate the slides for the latches). Took me 15 min to take out the old, install the new, lubricate where needed. The part was heavier than I expected, and I expect to get another 15+ years from this one. Not bad for $11 or so.
