It's just BLACK DYE.
I wish I could give it a big ZERO STAR. Just the essence of Heena. But no trace of Heena at all. I ordered coffee beans color but it's all just black dye. Absolute disappointment. Only buy it if you want a black dye.

I was really pleased to find a Henna (natural) hair dye that could dye my hair so quickly, most Henna products require you to leave the dye in your hair for hours so I thought I'd give it a go. The instructions were very easy to follow. I got 6 sachets of henna hair dye in the packet. My hair is moderate length (a few cms below my shoulders) so I used 2 packets to get 85% hair coverage. 1 packet would really have only done a root touch up. The contents of the packet are really nice fine powder and you just mix in cold water (40 ml/packet). Quick, easy and mess free. You need an applicator brush (which I had from another product). It went in easily, no lumps, I wrapped by hair in cling film/surround wrap, waited 30 mins as indicated and rinsed out and conditioned it with my usual conditioner. I have to admit I didn't think it would take to my hair so quickly (30 mins) so I was pretty stunned when I rinsed it out and let my hair dry to discover I now have jet black hair. I had medium brown hair before I used the Vatika dye so jet black was a bit of a surprise since the packet said dark brown. So for ease of use and the amazingly quick "leave in" time (30 mins) I'd give this product top marks, unfortunately it falls short on the colour it's meant to be, it's way too dark.
