No unfortunately not, the timer is fuelled by the testosterone emanating from the male wrist. It won’t work on a lady.

Q: Mine arrived with the Battery already started. I didn't want this as it a gift for giving after being stored.

The battery will last for a decade or longer. The strap will break long before then. And a decent replacement will cost more than the watch. I have bought this particular watch repeatedly over the years. Initially I replaced the straps; in the end I just gave up and bought a new one each time. I stopped wearing a watch on my wrist when I stopped working, 8 years ago; by that time I had accumulated at least 6, all still working fine. My wife normally carries 3 around in her handbag (don't ask!); I have another 3 scattered around the pockets of various pairs of trousers. The first couple of batteries actually ran down in close succession about a week ago. I estimate that I bought the watches in question getting on for 20 years ago. And after 20 years, a new battery cost about 50p, and took maybe 10 minutes to fit (only tool required was a screwdriver suitable for tightening the screws on spectacles).

Q: Does the watch come with a warranty?

I never thought to ask. At that price, I would doubt it. I have had three of these to date. None of the watches has ever failed; it's the strap which breaks, and a new one is almost the price of the watch.
