really love this aloe vera gel. Just a heads-up — once it dries, it does leave a slightly tight, mask-like feeling on the skin. It’s not irritating, but you’ll feel a bit of tugging if you’ve applied it to a large area (especially after a sunburn). Personally, this doesn’t bother me at all, but it’s something to be aware of if you prefer a completely invisible finish. Performance-wise, it works just as well as more expensive aloe gels I’ve tried, and for the price, it’s a fantastic value. It soothes irritation and hydrates nicely, especially after sun exposure. A little tip: keep it in the fridge for extra cooling and relief, it feels amazing on sunburned skin! Overall, it’s effective, affordable, and a great staple to have on hand.

I’ve tried several aloe vera gels, and Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel is by far the best! It’s thick, absorbs quickly, and really soothes sunburns, dry skin, and irritations like insect bites. Unlike watery brands, this one works with just a small amount and leaves no greasy residue. It’s also fragrance-free, which is perfect for sensitive skin. We use it for a variety of things—shaving, styling hair, and even after skin irritations. The price for two 12-ounce bottles is unbeatable for the quality and performance. The downside: The picture online shows a pump on the bottle, but what we received were two bottles with no pump. While this doesn’t affect the product itself, it’s a misleading advertisement, so I’ve taken off one star for that. Pros: • Thick and effective for dry skin and sunburns • No fragrance—great for sensitive skin • Multi-purpose and great value Cons: • Misleading packaging—no pump included Overall, this is a fantastic aloe vera gel, but the misleading packaging drops it to 4 stars. I always keep Fruit of the Eart Vloe Vera Gel on hand, because it's so useful. Unlike many aloe gels, this does not contain added colors, SD alcohol, menthol, or lidocaine. SD alcohol and menthol provide a cooling sensation, but can irritate the skin. Lidocaine is what your dentist injects into your gums to numb nerve endings for dental procedures. I have used gels with lidocaine in the past, and it does help with the pain, but it will not help heal the burn. Neither will SD alcohol or menthol. If you have mild sunburn, apply this frequently, stay inside, and stay cool. Fortunately, this product can be applied as often as you please. If your sunburn is moderate to severe, see your doctor. I use this for minor household burns. Two days ago, I burned my forearm near my elbow while reaching into a 425 degree oven. Right away, I ran some cool (not cold) water over the affected area, and started applying this gel every couple hours. I also used a good moisturizer and sunscreen; more on those products later. The burned area of skin is now brown. There is no redness, no pain or irritation, blistering, peeling, or scabbing. The skin is perfectly smooth and the mark will fade. It's also good for an array of minor skin irritations. Sometimes when I'm handling plants and gardening, oils from the plant cause a bit of an allergic reaction. I'm not talking about poison ivy types of reactions here, just itchiness with or without redness, without a rash. It's quite soothing. It also helps heal minor cuts and abrasions, those tiny injuries that happen while cleaning house or handling office items. I've used it in a pinch as hair gel. It has no film formers or silicones, so it doesn't add hold or shine, but the thickeners will add some body to my hair, which is great, because my hair can use all the body I can give it. For both men and women this is possibly the best aftershave product out there. No matter how you remove hair, you may experience skin irritation. Depilatories, epilators, electric, and blade razors can all cause rash or razor burn. Gentlemen, please get rid of aftershave products and use this. Don't use aftershave products or colognes containing alcohol or menthol. No matter what you've been told, these products are not good for your skin. You may think the "burn" is a necessary part of a good shave, but you're wrong. A good shave is the result of good shaving tools and techniques. Those products burn because they irritate your skin, and the more irritation you have from shaving, the more they burn. Otherwise, this is the first thing you should apply to your skin after shaving. Use styptic powder or pencil, or an alum block to stop bleeding if necessary. Then, men and women both, use this gel first thing after shaving or other methods of hair removal. Aloe contains potent anti-irritants. It will soothe your skin, and help ease redness. After using the aloe gel, apply a moisturizer, such as Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM , CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion , or ShiKai Lotion, Dry Skin Therapy , Gold Bond Ultimate Restoring Lotion, With CoQ10 . You'll need sunscreen if you go outside. I recommend Olay Professional Pro-X Age Repair Lotion With Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 , EltaMD UV Lotion Broad-Spectrum SPF 30+ , Banana Boat Sunscreen Protect and Hydrate Moisturizing Broad Spectrum Sun Care Sunscreen Lotion - SPF 50 , or Industrial Strength Sunscreen ISSC-8-30+FF SPF 30+ Micro Refined Clear Zinc Oxide Fragrance Free . Finally, and yummiest of all, this is so marvelous for rubbing your feet. Especially in the summer, when it's mighty cooling, sometime after you get home from school or work, get your dawgs out of your shoes and spend a few minutes massaging your feet with aloe gel. It feels fantastic, and it isn't so messy as massage creams, lotions, or oils, or other moisturizers. It's a dandy treat for your feet.

I like. I bought it for my face. And I use it every day to help minimize my scars. So good. My face feels fresh. It dried my face out so I use a moisturizer after it’s dry. It’s not sticky at all.

Very nice genuine product. It's all purpose gel. Can be used for shaving, skincare, shampoo. It spread easily without any residue and there is no artificial fragrance, color or additives. We should avoid color and too much fragrance products.

Egal ob Sonnenbrand, leichte Schürf- oder Schnittwunden… dieses Gel ist das Beste was ich je gekauft habe. - Und ich habe als regelmäßiger Fuerteventura-Urlauber schon viele Aloe-Gels und -Cremes getestet. - Bei mir liegt immer eine Flasche davon im Kühlschrank, damit es die Haut zusätzlich kühlt, was vor allem bei Verbrennungen bzw. Sonnenbrand sehr gut tut. Die heilende Wirkung für die Haut ist wirklich beachtlich und ich habe noch nie ein geruchsneutraleres Aloe-Gel gefunden, dass noch dazu fast ewig haltbar ist. - KAUFEMPFEHLUNG !!!

Après avoir découvert ce produit en Californie suite à un coup de soleil. J'ai vu ensuite que c'était un excellent produit pour la peau et les cheveux. Recicatrisant, hydratant et anti oxydant bref un super amis pour la peau et les cheveux.
