This espresso is excellent. It has a fabulous taste and a wonderful aroma that really stands out. It’s smooth enough to enjoy straight, but it also works perfectly for blending when I need to stretch my dollar. I love that a portion of the proceeds goes to help the fire department, so it’s a purchase I can feel good about. High-quality flavor and a great way to support our first responders!

Adore this espresso. Very bold but smooth finish, delivers a really nice crema. No weird overpowering undertones. Just a nice solid coffee that grinds great, smells like heaven and tastes even better. Just wishing they sold bigger bags. But this is the only size they got - even when going to their website! This is a must try! You won’t be disappointed!

Beyond my experience as a barista and espresso bar manager, I have been making and perfecting iced mochas at home for over 25 years. I grew up in the Seattle area with lots of espresso options so I'm fairly picky about what I use. (No I don't like Starbucks) I normally buy Dillanos straight from the company but when I can't, I sometimes grab Cafe Bustello or Cafe Lavazza from the store or Amazon. Neither are exceptional but they're inexpensive and the ground version doesn't clog my machine. I compared this to these other two brands because all three are available on Amazon. Shellback has a better shot quality and taste than the other two. It's a little light for espresso but it has great flavor. Shellback is slightly more expensive but it's nice that some of that money is going to a good cause. Shellback has THE BEST aroma. I think I'm tempted to make a mocha just to smell the espresso. Overall it's a really good quality espresso and I will buy it again, but for a cheap alternative to my more expensive espresso, it's a little pricey (I did find it cheaper through another seller later. I would like to see more options like a darker roast and maybe some different size choices.

Not a bad coffee but not a great espressso to make lattes or americanos. More just a strong coffee brew
